That woman had been a devoted wife and mother thru all these years and this is how you repay back? Just becuz she didnt agree? 😳 Then again Baseerat too cudnt be blamed as he was indeed raging in self guilty for not seeking or helping his Sister, Maimoona when she needed him the most. So when Maimoona asked Baseerat to find a match for Khirad, He thought the best way to repent for everything was Asher's hand for Khirad. Then Sara, I agree she deserved Asher's love and if not that then a much better life wid her mother. I too dont consider Suicide right. But then, when did ppl in love started reasoning? 😊 Sara when saw she had no chance to get Asher's love might have finished her life thinking that maybe in next lifetime, She wud get his love. Love Is Mad and Blind as in all love stories.

^^ agreed @Neerjaa... as I quoted before Fareeda was not evil if she would have been then things would have different from beginning..! Her mind was clouded with the disgust and insult she felt when Baseerat asked her to leave the house... Come on who does that? I guess that was the moment which sprouted into bad feelings for Khirad! moreover she had always imagined Sara as her DIL, so it becomes difficult for her to change that image so fast...still she would have easily accepted Khirad if Baseerat had tried to reason with her, rather just asking her to go to hell ! What she did was a matter of ego and self respect! that's why one should mind his tongue..!
I agree at that point too that Ashar could have maintained a distance, but i feel he felt responsible towards her as she had been his greatest support throughout... it is not that easy to just get sumone out of your life in a jerk..! here i would like to mention Zareena also... in beginning i felt that at least she has some sensibility but the way she gives up to her daughter's obsession and her sister's evil plans, disappoints me! it is the responsibility of elders to guide us, but what will happen if they themselves loses the sense of right and wrong? this is what is going to happen!!! Everything will be destroyed!
But if we don't make mistakes, then who will call us human beings?
They made mistakes and suffered... its a lesson that over of anything will lead to destruction!
I agree completely all that you said for Khirad...!!

Firstly, Im not trying to create a war here as who v/s whom, cuz as Nandini said its a matter of prespectives. I dont feel connected to Khirad cuz She and I are wayy apart as personalities though I am the same age as she was and I think, I wud have reacted diffrently if I was placed in such situations as being from a Conservative Family and young (which I too am!) doesnt makes me that Naive. 2ndly, I sympathize wid Sara and I know many may not but still I do cuz I have seen my cousin's frnd meet her end for the same reason as Sara did, It was heart wrenching to see her end. Regarding all things Sara did to get Asher back are very less as compared to what I've seen ppl do! I agree Sara was wrong and what all she did in Obsession wasnt right too, But sumtimes the urge to get sumone u love gets so strongg that it overlooks all the book rules abt Love. Sara was wrong but her prespective never was. And lastly as Nandini said, Everyone makes mistakes and thats what makes us Human. Sara too had her share! 😊

We all have different perspectives to look at the things and situations . Sometimes our own experiences clouds out perspective . Here i am unbiased . Obsession turns into destruction. for yourself and for others . What sara got with her obsession? Was she happy to see Asher , the hell he was going through . Is this called love ? Its no war Zone and will never like to be part of that zone . Yes if we have healthy discussions then others will join. So many left the forum because of this war zone . I'm nobody's fan ,it's the work that makes you admire .

i agree it is not a war zone we can give our views freely sara was at fault to some extent as during 4 n a half year period she had closed her eyes and mind to sense asher 's torment and pain ,was she a true friend ? asher had gone into a shell without khirad his love and still sara wanted him, she was totally selfish she should have let him go , i am not applauding asher ,he had betrayed his true love for khirad by placing her in a hell like state and his mom had pushed her into it but asher's pain ,inner anguish, hurt was shown so well that i could not hate him entirely and the scenes were shot perfectly to show that asher was just a workalcoholic who had plastic smiles on his face, sara was no fool yet she was not moved to give up her obsessive hold over asher

I am neither fan of khirad nor sara 😆
If we look at them with their behaviour point of view their mentality it justifies their characters
Khirad had self respect - which made her feel that she was forced in sumone life, I liked it, but asher with his care made her accept him, had not Asher taken her seriously as his wife she wouldn't have accepted him n always. In case of hareem treatment also, she held her head high with dignity N only her friend persistence that Asher has duties towards hareem made her seek help from him
In short she was woman with dignity, she was upset with Asher N it's justified coz till the very end of her hope she tried every possible thing to make him understand but he played deaf in anger n hurt

Now coming to Sara, she was made to believe that she is going to be Mrs Asher since childhood, she was living that dream without worrying about what future holds, she was possessive but every lover gets possessive, she started creating differences between them but it didn't worked out, the thing was she can not digest the fact that her love was not hers any more, she was blinded in love and just kept thinking about her happiness, she didn't thought off Asher's happiness, she JUST was concerned wid HERSELF,
I must say her hopes were too high, when khirad left Asher n went away for years, Sara was still hopeful that she will get back her Asher, she saw him torturing himself aid work but still choose to be silent because she was hopeful one day or other asher will marry her

Had her mother or aunt stopped her she wouldn't hv met that horrific end, they could hv counsel her instead of supporting her or playing silent spectator

By the way, I loved the acting skills of girl who played Sara

Sara was wrong no doubt! !
More than wrong she was plain stupid... i feel she had that feeling of losing him from the start...
She was very well aware of her defeat... she knew that she can never own him the way she wanted. .. but her ego never let her accept her defeat so maybe she had that thought in her mind ki agar ashar uska nahi toh kisi ka nahi... regardless of his sufferings... her end was because of her own deeds... she reaped what she sowed...! She had many other better options but SHE chose to ignore them!!
