Agreed about Lubna. I like her better than Farah too. But what I find most frustrating about her is how she gets easily manipulated by Farah.

I dont think feminism is involved in what Farah does here. If sh were a guy and Afzal a girl, and such a situation arose, I think she still would have used him the same way. It's her nature. Haan, what Miss Rosie did was definitely exploiting the notion of feminism.

I don't agree. There are so many strong female leads, in fact most Pakistani dramas have strong females.
Durre shahwar,, meri zaat zarra be nishan, bano, qaide tanhai and from the new ones digest writer and zulekha, Afia from Mera naam yousuf hai to name a few.

What I love is everyone leaves an impact in this show

Mehtabs suicide attempt was funny but the burning of the cradle was the actual proof was how much he loved Farah and how he decided to put an end to his misery by finally burning the cradle which was the reminder of Farah mehtab moments in the roof which was so dear to him

I hv seen the guy playing mehtab in durre shehwar and aina dulhaan ka as well and he is a TERRIFIC actor

He jus gets into the character

Wish he got more shows and better roles

True. He was EXCELLENT here as Mehtab. His character was chipkoo but he still succeeded in getting sympathy from the audience. He didn't play the character of Mehtab just as a caricature, someone for people to laugh at. The innocence he brought to the table really made all the difference. 😊

Farah comes home to see food being cooked and house being cleaned for some guests. She asks her mother who is coming but the mother doesn't tell her.
