But wherever I looked, at the promos of the drama, interviews, posters.. they all showed Farah as the romantic lead. Though I understood it later when I finished the drama as to why they'd do that. Farah was the main heroine because Afzal made her so.

Kashaf had her own ego issues. But at the end of the day, she was a very level headed girl. And she was from a poor background, with not much influence on others. Here, Farah is not only egoistic, she is childish and immature, and has the wealth and status to manipulate others according to her will. Perfect recipe for disaster.

Plus Kashaf had more than her match in Zaroon. Here, Afzal is total putty in Farah's hands. It just shows how differently things shape when in a relationship, one side has all the power.
