This is a wrong statement. Kashaf does not and cannot get controlled by flattery... if so it would have happened long ago. Zaroon was able to control her because he loved her unconditionally.
This is true..she isnt someone who can be controlled by flattery. Zaroon would have then managed to do that ages ago..right in college. I didnt get why this dialouge was there instead of Kashaf speaking about Zaroon's love.
"Ab main mere paas jitna hain utne mein khush rehna seekh gayi hoon"
I strongly disagree with this statement too... Kashaf towards the end of the series had everything... a good job, self respect, a loving husband and 2 lovely daughters... they were one happy family. I think this sentence has been said because they did not have a "boy" isliye jitna hai (2 girls) utne mein khush rehne lag gayi... I would say quite a regressive statement unless i am misinterpreting it
Interesting take about having only daughters. I didnt see it that way. I always felt Kashaf was fine with either sons or daughters. What she was afraid of being abandoned because of them like her mother was. That is she had issues with her husband. But Zaroon was a good husband and was nothing like all the negative expectation Kashaf had before marriage. So in that way God blessed her with a lot more than she expected and she should have had no reasons for complains or being only satisfied with life. But she should have been happy with life.
I had thought the statement would have suited if Zaroon would have been the abusive husband of the original book.
