@BlackStar. I love how the review mentions Ashar's desperate attempts to get a reaction from Khirad. While Khirad has successfully built herself in a strong and indifferent woman, the wall of indifference around Ashar is highly superficial.
Inspite of himself, he cannot fathom this new Khirad who once was his highly dependent, innocent and emotional wife. He has hundred questions playing in his mind, but his ego refrains him to ask any of them. And hence, unknowingly so, he provokes Khirad. In his subconscious, he has somewhere realized that he has wronged her, himself, and their daughter. But he is not ready to accept that fact. He is constantly trying to peek behind the cloak of a stranger that Khirad has worn, but least does he know that what he is trying to provoke is now an icy wall, only to be aroused with care and concern for her daughter.I love how subtly and yet poignantly the post leap elements and dimensions have been brought on screen, an absolutely brilliant piece of work!
