Kinjal, i dont think he took Bano as his responsiblity.. it was the hopeless love and the fear of losing her again to the cruel world which made him follow her orders and marry Rabiah .. do u remember there was a scene when Rabiah asks that why are you marrying me and he replies that may be after this Bano shows her face to me.. in that state he just wanted to see his bano, alive, safe and secured and nothing else.. by that time he didnt even desire to marry bano but just serve her as much as he could..

the more i felt bad for him, the much more bad for Rabiah .. its so sad when the man whom you have worshipped asks you to marry him so that he can get back to his lover ...

payal, there are few men like him also.. he always had this complex and guilt in him, which ate him up in his isolation.. Payal its really easy to think that why did he never raise his voice and try to move on, but from his point of view he had nobody in his life to make him believe that the misery can be overcome.. Khirad had hareem, who showed her a new direction in her life, otherwise khirad would also be in the same state like Ashar ..

Moreover, the fact that he never even discussed his heart break with the closest relatives of his proves that he did not flaunt his misery, its more about the whiteness of his character that whatever his face reveals , his heart holds that..

Men like him, as i said earlier, hardly exist ... its really tough to tolerate Ashar Hussain and the way he punctures your heart 😭

Sorry sorry I do like Asher , specially the tormented one but it annoyed me to see him like ultimate bakra of the series.

payal, he didnt become the bakra out of choice yaar .. i understand your point that how he had no self respect or dignity to raise his voice, but then hopeless love is like that .. he himself tells to khirad that " my ego, my self respect, everything has gone for a toss and i still love you, so plss come back to me " .. when he got a chance to get back khirad, he utilised it, he allowed her to know about his feelings
