Apart from Baseerat blackmailing Fareeda i didnot find this show/epi2 as regressive so bit confused what exactly is considered as regressive😕

Sara telling Asher kuch baatein hum ladko se hi expect karte hai chahe kitna bhi frank ho jaye, sorry but that was ridiculous as Sara herself confessed her feelings to mom and aunt. So why beating around the bush? And khirad not even being asked about her opinion regarding marriage, I find it annoying and regressive. Didnt she deserve the info at all being an independent living individual? Sorry if I sound too critical, but I thought these were pretty regressive. 😡

Nope not critical but hav different view..i think it was normal for sara to hid that fact from asher thinking eventually they will end up together (courtsey dono mummy) and for not asking kirad/Asher their opinions (well asher was given some time😉) i see it as taking ur kids for granted coz they are too much of aagyakaris..no seriously it was emotional exploitation that every parent tries to do at some point in life..though deciding marriage is too big a decision but fixing marriage in this case was not matter of backwardness as it was of fulfilling duties as brother son or daughter and behen-bhai due was being selfish they werent thinking straight..

The only pukeworthy thing in this entire series was for me the way Baseerat threatened fareeda..that for me was degree 1 sick mentality. I was even ok when Asher said he wud rather kill khirad whr he was epic fooled by his wn mother but not this
