Ok finally saw Humsafar episode 1. I didnt dislike it as much as I thought I would(the advantage of having KZK as benchmark😆). I didnt dislike Mahira either. Overall I found it ok.

I didnt like the supporting cast of HS unlike ZGH whose even supporting cast struck a chord in the first episode itself whether it was Kashaf's family or Zaroon's family. No one really stood out...maybe only that chick who is Asher's friend.

What I really missed in the show was Zaroon's/Viku's/Fawad's characteristic swagger. Asher looked so sidey...fading into the background and all. 😆But I liked how they showed natural interactions between Asher and Khirad. Hindi serial hota toh yeh mulakatein kuch aur hi hote which tripping and falling and catching, dupattas flying etc. 🤣

I couldnt wrap my head around the fact that Asher's dad loves his sister SO MUCH that he proposes to get his son married to her daughter...yet he never has time to even remember to call her four years. Indigestable!

I just saw in paper today that shows lined up for Fawad is Dastan, Num and Akbari Ashgari so after Humsafar a lot more Fawad will be aired in India.

The difference between Zarron and Ashar would be that Zaroon is Robila smart a ladies man a charmer who knows what he wants and gets it. No wonder a tough nut like Kashaf was already head over heels in love with him though she did not know she was until later. Though Osama was her ideal guy but she was never into him at all as Zaroon ruled her mind and heart though she did not know or acknowledge what she felt for him that time.
Ashar would be a softie I guess in that matter but has his own charm but I always have a thing for a guy who knows how to win a woman over.

after humsafar instead of telecasting dastaan, channel should opt for lighte hearted ones like Kuch pyar ka pagalpan.. dastaan should be kept for major floods like when channel does not find anything for grabbing attention and then telecast dastaan ..

For example, AA I have not watched till now because I am unable to follow the language and humor.. And I am from the Hindi heartland and can understand Urdu also pretty well...

But anyways, the channel is the best judge

Guys I think Fawad's only other hit drama is Dastan right rest are all average fares. So maybe that is why Dastan is next online to be shown. Iam proud of Indian censor board if they have passed the show to be screened here means we have broad minded people there who realizes the true potential of a show and not just let it be governed by religious sentiments. Also there will be some cuts for sure where it might hurt Indian sentiments.
