Asexpected,Khoobsuratsaw a drop from its Monday collections itself. Even on its 1st Tuesday, the film saw a minimal drop. It collected1.40 croresover its fifth day and now stands with a total collection of14.4 croresat the domestic box office.

The film targeted at the multiplexes is holding up decently out there.Khhobsuratreleased in minimal single screens and thus the entire collections are dependent on its performance in the metros specifically multiplexes.

In spite of having a popular soundtrack and enough publicity, the film is proving to be a poor audience puller. Starring Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan in lead roles, this remake of the 80s classic is expected to maintain a average pace over the first week.

Huh,it was their fault that they kept their expectations high about KS becoz me being FK fan n seeing past record of SK was hoping the same collection as its showing now (5-10% more ) It would be gud for them to analyse DEI more closely than KS as the former has more popular n successfull starcasts of BW. One thing that Ks release proved is that DEI failed to change its fate. Marry kom ke sath v pitna he tha aur ks k sath v. Huh. For me KS is the winner

I thought of writing was lootera a suoerhit as that bhakt was obvio fan of the male lead of that movie, I absokutely dislike this kind of mocking. Kisi ko kya agar Fawad khan has a fanbase? Cant tk it, stay away from it.

lol they should quit BOLLYWOOD forum becoz me being so dull at BO numbers know it well tell a film cant be declared flop if it recovers its budget which Ks has surely done ww n will do it in a day or 2 in India. So they should stoop calling FlOP at the first place,2ndly Fawad would have been in no loss even If Ks had flopped. Bashers r bashers they will bash till their last breathe .

Sonam Kapoor's chemistry with Fawad Khan reminds people of Ahmed Ali Butt

Lahore: Film critics, drama critics, music critics, and critics for the sake of being critics have admired the chemistry between Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan in the recently released Disney movie Khoobsurat. Many have suggested that Sonam's bonding with Fawad is reminiscent of the chemistry shared between Fawad Khan and Ahmed Ali Butt during the early 2000s as vocalists of Entity Paradigm.

"I had been waiting for Sonam to start rapping throughout the movie," said Ali Munir, a renowned music critic said following Khoobsurat's screening while talking to Khabaristan Times. "I wouldn't have been surprised had she started singing I'm a white boy, coming straight from the L-town', with Fawad sending next to her," Ali added standing outside DHA cinema. "Sonam is arguably the closest anyone's ever come to forming a solid couple with Fawad - since Butt of course"

"While there were elements extracted from Rekha's Khoobsurat, the movie was clearly a remake of the Fawad Khan-Ahmed Ali Butt starrer Jutt and Bond TV serial," Sarah Rehman, renowned TV critic said while talking to Khabaristan Times outside CineStar cinema. "Fawab has done a formidable job reprising his role as bond, but credit goes to Sonam for being able to pull off the role of an irrepressible Maula Jutt trapped inside the body of a pseudo Disney princess," she added.

Ahsan Bashir, film critic, however said that Sonam Kapoor's comparison with Ahmed Ali Butt is a bit premature.

"One can understand where they're coming from, but the comparisons are a bit premature. Sonam still has a long way to go before she can match Butt as Fawad's partner in chief"
