But, at the end I left with so much satisfaction & happiness . Though I'm still a student from a very middle class family , I'll surely buy the blue ray dvd of this movie the first day it comes into my local dvd store . My parents have already agreed . My entire family loved this movie . So , we're going to watch it again on Sunday . 🥳

Fawad was fantastic, as expected, of course. But Sonam all pulled it through.

There were roars of laughter in the jam packed hall, and people generally came out rally happy.

Critics will be critics and will give their point of view. We are also all critics in our own way. We have opinions on all celebs and issues. So its fine if people think differently.

Some critics judge by collections, some by acting, and others by other parameters. Its all a part of the game.

Watch the movie for yourself. You might love it, or you might find it okay. You might love Sonam or find her OTT. Its all a matter of opinion. And everyone has one, which is also fine.

IMO, its a happy, feel good movie. I think it was the best choice for Fawad to make his debut. I also think it wouldn't have turned out this way solely because of him. The entire cast, cinematography and direction played a very big role in it.

If this movie didn't get happy reviews, they would have said that critics never give their stars good reviews and our industry never gives them good roles.

I just said it above, and I will say it again. KS is a lovely movie. I'm not a Sonam fan, but she was really good here. Over and above that, this movie couldn't have been what it is if it wasn't for the entire cast and crew. So while Fawad is really good, the credit cannot go solely to him.

I'm reading things like Fawad is going to change the face of Indian cinema and stuff in their reviews. ***rolling my eyes*** Yes, he's good, but please don't get so ambitious.

Oh so are you trying to say that Amitabh and Aishwariya did not have good opportunities in India that is why they went to hollywood. And lets be honest over here. All the people going gaga over fawad, it is because of ZGH, humsafar and his dramas in Pakistan. If Zgh would not have aired in India before khoobsurat fawad would not have been at a place where he is now. He would have been another Pakistani wanna be in bollywood. So yes thanks to the oportunities in pakistan that made him what fawad is now.

Secondly as far as the dawn review goes it doesn't say anything about sonam which indian reviewewers are not already saying so why only blame a pakistani reviewer for being harsh on sonam.

And as far as the point about calling fawad our own, whats wrong in it. Every indian newspaper is calling fawad 'pakistani' actor so ofcourse his real place is in pakistan and his fans in pakistan want him back. I don't think there is anything in the review which should be made an issue out of.

Hey guys I watched Khoobsurat it is not a well made film. the direction is very weak and so is the screenplay. But some moments in the movie keep u engaged. Strictly a one time watch and yes incase of Fawad fans just to see him u might think of going again. I hope the movie does well this weekend due to all the buzz around it at the moment. Fawad Khan is a far better actor than the scope he has got in this film. But as a fan and one who have waited for this movie like all of u fingers crossed that the first weekend the movie will do decent business because I don't see any scope for movie to become a blockbuster. Sorry just my POV.

For us our stars going to work anywhere is NOT a patriotic issue. Also at whatever level, we don't keep on going, "they are ours and we're keeping them" When people like Malika Sherawat does what she does, we don't feel she is letting India down. We don't get so hyper about every single thing about our celebs.

Of course, he is Pakistan and has done fabulous work there, only because of which he was considered here. He's an amazing actor with great talent, which HE has worked very hard for, and it shows in all his work. But that doesn't mean that BW can't do without him or that KS wouldn't have been made without him.

Exactly. You said it. Our media doesn't spare our stars for their performances either. They don't spare their opinions on anyone. So when Fawad is praised and Sonam is criticized, everyone takes the opinion. But when your other stars are given flak, you make it like the Indian media is doing it to your stars.

So many reviews from India. All praising Fawad, some praising Sonam, and some not. Would be pleasantly surprised if I see a single one from Pak giving her some credit, or maybe the whole KS crew some credit.

Obviously our media will call him Pakistani. That is his identity here, which I'm sure he too is very proud of. He's new, he's making a debut and he's not Indian, so its natural to refer to him that way.

There is no issue in the review. Its the reviewers opinion. But like I said, I will be pleasantly surprised, if ANY of the reviews there have anything nice to say about anything BW/Sonam/KS other than just Fawad being the only reason. The tone is like a "1 up" thing, and THAT is what I think people are referring to, more than anything else.
