yea he never forgot that.. and i dont blame him, he was openly insulted for his credibility as a good life partner, i understand he had his faults, but still he didnt deserve this.. 😭

In that rain scene Khirad did say aap tau bilkul bore hain, buddhi rooh hain aap. Although she only joked at that time but when he began to think over it, it added to his insecurities.

was he really secure in his life regarding khirad's love for him? after repeated attempts from khirad and her confession that he meant world to her, he refused too see logically and asked her to grow up. may be it was his ego or the age difference and the superficial incompatibility issues spoken by khirad which did the damage. their relation was already heading for a break point or a huge show down which got broken by manipulators. they were more clever than them to assess their relationship and use it to their advantage. their relation was already brittle, fareeda nad khizer were last nail in the coffin.

And even Khirad, she blindly thought that because Asher loved her he trusted her too. She made an effort in knowing what was wrong with him but he chose to give her the silent treatment so I don't know how much I can blame her. He went to sleep upset with her when all she said was "abhi mera kaam khatam nahi hua aap so jayain", he was so damn possessive of her like literally only wanting her to pay attention to him, to love him all the time, which is why her confession to him was so important to let him know that he's the one she loves, and he's the only one that matters.

One dialogue that I find so funny for some reason btw is in episode 9 when Asher goes "tum mujhse milne se inkaar kar sakti ho" like wth? She's sleeping right next to you what does milna mean 😆

i would add up some of my opinion.. i agree with the fact that Asher and Khirad had quite some issues regarding their marriage and because it was an arranged one, insecurities and possessiveness was there..

But who on earth would even dream that the mother can play cards like that ? ye sthey had issues, but that does not mean the marriage would break apart due to those issues, they were matured and they would handle it in their own ways just how they did it tonight in the phone convo.. it was not like they themselves created a reason for the insecurities, the reasons were planted by their own mother and manipulators, and only because their love was so so deep and passionate the mother took such a henious step to show her son all that he saw tonight, otherwise along with sara, they tried a lot to develop a status issue, education issue, or even mental compatiblity issue in Asher's thought process, but everything backfired as he was too much about khirad, he loved her so called gaon ga gorapan, her being from a middle class bg but still with mature thoughts, he loved her fashion sense despite that being not too much like his class, infact he even loved how they were a mismatch and still fell in love.. it was the assurance by his moves and him again and again that no such issues can make him abandon her made the mother and sara hit the nail in his self respect, ego, and moreover the blind faith he had on her innocence.. He loved her more because she had developed the faith in him that her love is the only truth and she can never sleep by lying to him, and when the same lady is caught with another man in a private place that too in that condition, a basic human reaction is what Asher gives..

so its just too wrong to say that they had issues and thus people took advantage, its more like they had issues which they had overcome with their love, and thus finding nothing else the mother chose this disgusting step and executed it..

men love their ego the most and they cannot bear that love of their life can actually fall out of love with him. its biggest insult to them and that too for another man whom he never thought much highly about , oh that was a tamacha on yale returned Mr Perfect Asher Hussian , how can he forget that? moreover he was told he was mentally incompatible to his spouse who is far more deserving in ter,s of love life than him. he was made to feel incapable , ineligible and it surely hurts and more so as Asher was a upper class snobbish, arrogant guy who was ever told that he is dream man of girls in society.

I don't blame him either for not forgetting it, but isn't feeling inferior and threatened by irrelevant people and judging your spouse forgetting every thing is sign of impracticality and being weak?he just celebrated the heartbreak and gave up which I disliked. wasn't he sure of his feelings to fight and he should have been less insensitive towards khirad in future. I will reserve my opinions and where I have my issues with him for future epi discussions.

'Milna' here means you can refuse to have sex with me as this is exactly what khirad did.

its an infinite loop actually and I guess better we keep our sanity intact saying both were flawed and external forces became ancillary for the break up. and no relation or human being is perfect and its better we learn from those mistakes which we do being imperfect.

and I guess this discussion about Asher being right or wrong is endless to. I would say what I said earlier he is too good to be true to survive in big bad world in the name of being golden hearted.

I think possessiveness comes naturally with love, especially to the male. In fact, a man is emotionally much weaker than a woman. If he loves you, you become his greatest strength as well as the greatest weakness. That's what was the case with Ashar.

Talking about their relation, I think they were still really afresh in their marraige. They had fallen in love, yes. But things like trust and communication are built over time. Right now, they were delicate, still exploring each other, still learning the dynamics of the marriage. And in a time as such, with cruel people ganging up against you, inclusive of your own mother, it's almost impossible to withstand.
