Unfortunately we don't knw who is behind the most popular of shows. Indian soap writers don't get their credit.

Maybe you are right.. Haseena Moin was popular in her time..
I started watching Pak shows very late around 6 to 7 years back so I can only tell you about the current scenario..

Oh yes, thats true.. We never get to hear who are the writers of Indian shows. The directors are sometimes mentioned but only sometimes.
Its the main lead that get the most publicity,,

Its Chhoti Bahu which just hooked me midway ,with no nonsense , having old world charm and i myself was surprised as i rarely go for Hindi ones . But atmosphere was very healthy with discussions about literature and what not .

Finished watching Ashk , very few told me to go ahead . Starting was from the Mani Ratnam,s beautiful movie Roja . And jebu was something like Roja because of misunderstandings but then the show went with its on story . I just felt that those two servants were given more space . I like the actor who played Nadia and Asmara . It was average show , perhaps i missed few episodes . Location was beautiful . Fawad did what he was expected to do , He can very well pull abgry loks with intensity as well romantic looks . Many times he reminds me of Aamir khan specially in ZGH. , When Kashaf was leaving him . and his carefree attitude in uni.

nice observation i must say Pakistanis take there dramas very seriously not only the maker but viewers too really admirable 👏
they stick to the story no unneccessary draging turn & twists even though the serial becomes hit it end on it time
variety of stories , less makeup, real setups cherry on cake ⭐️
even if you don't like the story there is no worry the serial
end on it time 👍🏼
the best thing i feel during watching Pak shows the story the characters you can connect with them ..sometime you found those characters in your surroundings or sometime you yourself see you in a character they show realities of life ❤️
i'm not saying every Pak serial is best they made flop serials too
but there number is less & limited episodes not leave a bad taste

I was not sure about this show as has different opinions . i first download the whole show then watch on TV with pen drive . It was so so nothing special . But one thing i must say because of limited episodes you just want t finish the show , Ashk has good story but has many faltu scenes . Numm is the shhow which i thoroughly enjoyed as it was very complex and sorry Pinkeye , i liked Fawad,s work where he was subtle but slowly became decisive . all were victims of traditions like our Khap panchyats. You tell me what to see next
Dur e shahwar is not completed yet but its nice show , relations between mother daughter . As somewhere said that grass always look more greener other side . Shukk has downloaded .
I liked the actors in Dur e Shahwar , quite bunch of good actors . So suggest next . Yes Numm remains special also because of Mahzabeen,s and Walli,s unspoken chemistry .

u watched teesra kinara???
wow that is my all time favorite show
i watched it some years back when it was repeated on tv
and i always like Rahat Kazmi
but after watching that show i was in love with his acting skills and personality and Sahira Kazmi was also brilliant
it was truly a classic

It depends on the tastes . All shows can not be masterpiece . there can be both kind of shows . Just as Kaash ...has good story line but going on dragging . I liked the other shows on Zindgi Channel . Yes agree with you , what ever shows i saw were not over the top . natural surroendings as you see around you . More real to life .
