I had noticed this but forgot to write about it here that in these shows there's not much focus on prayers and religion unlike in our shows.

I think you have not seen shows like Mein Abdul Qadir hoon, Sher e Zaat and Parsa etc
In fact religious dramas have been very popular

But dey r specifically dramas based on religion right?

Otherwise we don't see much rituals or religious festivals being shown on Pak shows. Even their marraiges r a blink-and-miss events, unlike d long drawn ones shown in Indian soaps.😆

Yeah even these drama are more spritual rather than on ritual, we have specific telefilms on eid, ramadan etc but we don't see it that much in normal dramas

very well said...
i absolutely agree... i have watched humsafar and Zindagi gulzar hai... wid both the shows i can surely say quality speaks and number of episodes doesn't matter...
they go wid the basics...
and here in India we follow the trend which show last for how long...
surely show runs for years here but without any story...its all abt leads only...and fans happily watch any show even if it has worst of story...
wish to see some quality show in India too...where they will work on story more and not on leads , glamour, TRPs and drama...

In Pakistan drama's what I love about is how the characters live. The houses are shown according to class and so is dressing.

The house shown in Humsafar is amazing, I loved the house.

I think it is not a crime in Pakistan to find out gender of unborn baby as Kashaf does in ZGH also it is shown in Mera naseeb too. They may be following Western tradition of doing this before delivery.
