@Disha, ekta wrote new mughal history it seems to acomodate her style of story telling. No offence to you , but in that show akbar is nothing but a lovesick person uttering ajeeb dialogues all the time. I love historical fictions but I refuse to get served with the crap she is presenting. Mata ka kuch nahi ho sakta bas unke shows bade hit hote hai. I never watched a single indian show from start to finish, 3 months down the line, every story sucks. So better to stay away and I hate the mob mentality and playing for the gallery artitude of few makers. Fans mk demands and they start altering stories which shows they do not even hae a script.

Zgh I will always cherish and it has spoilt me to like another show and praise it endlessly anytime soon. Mata can continue whtever she wants.

No,not anymore 😆 I couldn't stand the nari shakti slogan being forced down my throat. Akbar has been reduced to roadside romeo. So,no thank you. I refuse to watch such nonsense. I feel bad for RT though. Poor guy,had so much expectations with this show. But he should have known,her shows are always women centric,who cares if ur playing Baadshah Akbar or not? 😆Heard there was a mirchi powder war recently which the women fought and saved Akbar 😆

If she makes ZGH,Zaroon will be reduced to a hybrid of Osama and Hamaad,trust me 😆

Amen to that sister,precisely why I stopped watching the show. 😆 Its a saas bahu drama which has been wrongly titled as a historical.

She should stick to films,her shows are insufferable. But I heard Gumrah was under Balaji. That surprised me! If sh is capable of making stuff like GUmrah,she surely can make something substantially good,if she's ready to let go of some big money making tactics.

Although,why do we blame her,when our own audiences are watching those shows? Look at the shows which are topping the TRP charts. Do any of them make sense? DABH had a good social issue,but it never clicked with me.

Honestly,if u see now,channels like bindass,mtv and channel V are maing shows which actually make a difference to the society. Gumrah started the trend. and many shows followed.

'Mtv webbed' is actually path-breaking. But this kinda shows address only us,youngsters. And the trp getters are the auntyjies,not us.

I think its ufair to bash Indian shows to this extent. If writers and Directors do their work and producers stop interfering and non stop streching also stops. Plus some mature subjects are taken and handled well, I think Indian TV can be revived in terms of creativity
PS: The stupid TRp system shoud also stop

24 was diff. ppl loved it. now its onto a next season. I still remember there was a TV executive interview once - and he said we don't make shows for the urban metro audience. it is made for tier b and c towns. we make them for small towns and their supposed sensibility. we make them for housewives. so they can watch it even while being interrupted multiple times .

obviously very offensive views but that is what the line of thinking is in the media houses.

and the trp system is crap. just 5000 ppl decide what the whole of north India watches

I totally agree. And I dont think its fair to blame the producers either,when our audiences are liking such stuff.

And like I said shows like Gumrah and Mtv webbed are seasonal shows which have episodal stories and they address grave social issues and crimes.

I think the youth has welcomed the path breaking realistic shows,but not the auntyjies. ANd who know,40 years down the lane,we ourselves might sit and watch the future saas bhi's and ghar ghar ki's 😆

TRP system should stop. Honestly. This is what is destroying creativity. I also heard that,its not that writers aren't coming up with something new,its just that the channels are not ready to welcome that change. They are pretty much happy with the saas bahu shows minting money. Why risk that?

24 was a remake of an american show with the same name btw. So,it doesnt even count. 😆 Sony used to air these telefilms I rememba. where all these movie directors like anurag basu(or was it kashyap?) handled one series each. That was quite good,but the TRPs never spoke.
