Peter's confrontation

Well, Peter said a lot about wanting to confront the ghosts but he was clearly backing away from the gates in the precap. Also, since Sophia ran out of the house, he isn't exactly within their reach anymore. How they are still walking towards him beyond the gates is another mystery, but I don't think they can reach him. Yug can also see that they are walking towards Peter. I wonder if he can actually tell them anything today? Since the main villain has flown in today, I hope we can get some information out of them so that the story can also move forward.
