Finally an update after a very long time.But,was worth it. The secret is out in front of Purab about Radhika being a raven. And,Dev has realised that he loves her.Waiting for the next update.

Epilogue

Dev tried again but he couldn't move a muscle, he glared at the man in front of him, not man a raven just like her.

It happened so quick, he got no clue how it happened, he was still sitting on the sofa, frustrating about their date when he popped out from nowhere. Before he could get hold of the gem she gave him to prevent any casted spell on him, he was already in his spell.

"She won't spare you." Dev said in anger.

"She isn't strong enough." The man replied with a smirk.

"Says who?" An voice asked which only the man understood while Dev only heard a bird chirp.

Both of them looked here and there, searching for the voice and spotted a raven fluttering its wings on the sofa.

A wave of relief washed over him, he was getting worried for her and himself too as he can't fight with supernatural beings.

The man turned into a raven as soon as he saw her, Dev tried to move but couldn't do so because the spell was still there.

Radhika flew away leading the man into their room, Dev's heart skipped few beats, what if she get hurt?

Radhika had turned herself human as another deadly strike pierced her other wing, incapacitating her completely from flying. Blood oozed from her arms, her legs wobbled as she took steps, her energy and power was completely drained from her, her eyesight blurred as she look at her opponent. She couldn't believe he was strong enough to overpower her, when all she remember was that this man is considered the weakest among all the raven clan.

"How can you be strong, Pratap?" She asked in a soft murmur.

He smirked and replied "I kept it hidden, my power waiting for the right time. Now once I got the gem of her, I will be the most powerful in this world."

There is another thing about gem which is not widely known in their world, that if you possess the gem of another raven, your power will know no boundries.

"Do you think that human you are helping will let you take the gem?"

"No, but who says I will let him take the gem?"

"You will be banished from the clan, have you considered that?"

He laughed sinisterly as he replied "Banished? No one can banish a ruler! You dumb ravens! who don't even use your power in the right way will be banished from my kingdom!"

"No one will follow you!"

"They will after they'll see my power, they surely will." He replied confidently.

"Now I must be going, the human must be waiting for me."

"No!!" She shouted as she stepped forward but fell down.

Black spots danced around her eyes as she lost her conscious.

"Don't...please..." she whispered softly.

Pratap gave a last glance at her before he left the room, Dev glanced up at him with stricken look on his face.

"What did you do to her?" Dev shouted at the top of voice.

"Didn't I tell you she isn't strong enough to beat me and now she's suffering. She won't last long." He said with a smirk.

"No.." Dev murmured as tears sprawled from his eyes. She can't leave him like that, she can't! He love her! Isn't she his protector? Who will protect him?!

"I don't believe you!" Dev said in anger.

"You can see it by yourself." He replied, removing the spell on him.

Dev moved and ran into the room, he stopped as he looked at her body lying in the pool of her blood.

"NO!!!!" He shouted in sheer agony as he ran towards her.

He was only few inches apart when that cursed spell stopped him on his tracks, he fought with all his strength, trying to move but he could do nothing against the magical power.

"Let's get you where you belong." Pratap said.

Dev's body followed him involuntarily, he shouted inspite his struggle.

"Wake up, Radhika! He's taking me! Protect me! Please! Wake up!"

She didn't woke up and Dev was taken away.

"Dev!!" Vaishali cried out from the cage.

"Mom!" Dev said as he ran towards her.

"Where is Radhika? Didn't she protect---"

"She did, Mom but she---" he paused and swallowed the lump in his throat "oh Mom, I lost her, she is gone!" He cried.

Vaishali gripped the iron bars, tears reflected in her eyes, she fell on her knees as she realized her last hope vanishing.

"Mom!" Dev said as he bent down.

"I'm sorry, Dev." She said.

"I wasn't able to protect you. I am not a good mother."

Dev thrust his hand in the cage and cupped his mother cheek, he replied "You are the best mother, even if I try hard I will never be able to find a mother like you."

She held his hand and sobbed harder, she failed to protect her son, failed to be a mother.

"Oh my, what a reunion." A man voice was heard from a corner.

Dev instantly recognized that voice, he couldn't mistake that voice, that voice belong to his mentor, his guide as he grew up, he is the next person after his mother whom he consider his family, the brother of his father, his dear uncle.

Dev looked back and stared at his uncle with anger and pain in his eyes, he couldn't believe his uncle will do this, he will keep him away from his mother, all the while he thought his mother was bad but he never guessed that his uncle was the real culprit.

"Why, Uncle Susheel?" Dev asked as he stood up and faced him.

Susheel gave a nasty smirk and replied "Ask your mother if she had given me the power without fuss, I wouldn't have brought you in this."

"Is that power more important than me?"

"Now that you're asking yes it is. You were never my concern, I lingered with you just so I can keep my eyes on your mother." He replied without remorse.

Dev gave him a disgusted look, and here he thought he was like his father, he treated him as his father.

Dev turned back to his mother and spoke in a soft tone "Mom, I know you may not agree with this but don't ever give him what he want."

"What are you saying? He will kill you." She said.

"I care not, Mom. It is better to die with dignity than live with a thought that this bas***d got what he wanted." Dev said angrily.

"No! I can't let that happen!" She replied.

"Yes, Vaishali. You can't let your son die for you selfish reasons, by the way the time is nearing."

"Time? For what?" Dev asked.

"For me to turn back into raven. I can't change back into human without my gem. He holds the gem, he wants me to pray for him so he will the gain the power it possess."

"That won't be necessary." Pratap said as he entered the room.

"What are you saying, Pratap?" Susheel asked baffledly.

Pratap smiled and striked Susheel with his power, bringing out amount of blood from his stomach.

"You bas***d!" He shouted and started for him but stopped in his tracks as another strike pierced his leg. He fell on the ground as he took last deadly blow on his heart, sucking the life out of him.

"Uncle!" Dev shouted in concern and took steps towards him, without thinking about his anger towards him.

He was stopped in between, held by the spell on him by Pratap.

"Stop it!" Vaishalo cried out.

"I will if you will give me you gem."

Vaishali stared at him then spat out "I would've gave him the power he want but not you!"

"Then watch your son die." He said as he struck Dev, piercing his arm.

"Dev!!!"

Dev yelled in pain and gripped his arm but then gritted out "Don't give him, Mom."

Another beam brushed against his sides, blood dripped from his fresh wound, he fell on his knees.

"Ah! I know how I will get what I want." Pratap said.

Dev involuntarily stood up and walked towards some place, "What the hell are you doing?!"

"Juat wait." He said with a smirk.

Dev was made to hold a knife, knowing what he has in mind, he tried hard to keep it away but the spell failed his every effort.

He made him brought the knife closer to his wrist and slashed it few centimeters away from his wrist.

Dev shouted in pain, so does Vaishali, he made him do it again but this time Dev shut his mouth and swallowed his pain for his mother, so she wouldn't get devastate more.

"I will give you!" Vaishali said.

"Don't Mom!" Dev said.

"Please leave my son, I will give you the power you want, Please, let him go!" She pleaded.

"Now we finally agree." He said and made Dev throw the knife.

Pratap approached Susheel and took out the gem from his pocket and gave it to Vaishali.

She held the gem in her hands, this gem is the reason why all of them are suffering, if she hadn't been the longest user of gem in the whole raven clan, she would've been happy with her son, she would've lived the peaceful life.

She closed her eyes and gripped the gem in her hand then start chanting the mantra which will make Pratap the new possessor of the gem.

"Don't Mom! Don---" Dev started to speak but automatically he was made silent.

She was in the middle of the mantra when she heard Dev speak while opening the cage.

"Mom, stop! He's gone!"

Gone? How can he go? She opened her eyes and saw him unconcious on the floor.

"It is the second time I am helping you, you shithead." Purab said with a grin as he placed the tranquillizer gun on his shoulder.

Dev gave him a wide grin and replied "I've never been happy to see an enemy of mine. How did you find me?"

"I didn't. I didn't even knew what the hell was happening, I've recieved more than one shock! Actually I'm still too shocked to grasp anything. First, I've learned my dear wife is still alive then this Radhika turned into a bird, like that wasn't enough, I found her nearl---"

"How is she? Is she fine?"

"She is fine now. Thankfully, I had all the supplies I needed for her treatment, you can't guess how worried I was for her when I saw her on the verge of dying plus I was worried for you, I didn't know in what hell you were."

"Then how---"

"Because of her partner, she called him, I wonder how but she did. This man called Arjun popped up in front of me, he helped me and gave her some herbs to heal, it healed her quicker than I thought. I asked him to help me find you but he declined, saying he don't want to help any human, had good fight with him over that then she told him that you are important for her, at that he instantly agreed and he helped me track you through his sense of smell. I brought this tranquillizer gun because she told me that it was her own kind who took you, what can be the only weapon for fighting against animal? Ofcourse this!"

"Where is Arjun and where did you get that gun? If I knew we had one I would've used it."

"I kept it hidden, I didn't know we would get in this trouble. And about Arjun, he went away as soon as he showed me where you were, he was getting hysterical over Radhika."

"She is his partner. And we raven care about our partner a lot." Vaishali replied as she touched Dev's arm, he flinched then felt nothing, his wounds healed by her power, she did it to his other wounds.

"Holy cow! You have that power to heal?" Purab asked astonishingly.

"We all ravens get power to heal but we can heal only other animals and humans."

"That is fantastic! It's like I'm still dreaming!"

"I felt the same when I heard everything. By the way, why are you so dirty as if you played with mud?"

"That is to change my scent, Arjun asked me that I smell human and have to change scent so the one who took would never guess that there is other human in the room."

"What are you gonna do with him? The drug will last for only two or three hours."

"I know a very special place for him." Vaishali said.

With the click of her finger, he was vanished from the room.

"Where did you send him Mom?"

"To a place where no raven wish to go, a dark cave where evil raven are punished."

"What about this other man?" Purab asked.

Vaishali looked at Susheel and replied "I can't help him, there is no life in him for me to save him but we will get him a proper funeral, it's the least I can do for him."

"Yes, Mom." Dev said.

She looked at her son, "I'm sorry, Dev. I know you always wanted me to love you, to care for you but I was---"

"Don't Mom, I knew you love me even if you didn't show your love, you were always there for me. It doesn't matter now, what matters is that we are together now." Dev said as he embraced her in his arms.

"I'm sorry too for fighting with you. Let's go home, Mom. Our home."

"How are you, honey?" Dev asked as he brushed his hand on her head.

"I am fine now. Thanks to Arjun." Radhika said weakly with the smile.

"I helped too, darlin'" Purab said.

"Oh! Thanks to you too."

"I thought you have your wife now, would you stop calling her darlin?" Dev said.

"My wife doesn't mind, do you?" He asked as he looked at Neha.

"I don't but I don't mind killing you also." She replied with a grin.

Everyone laughed, "Let's give Radhika some rest. Dev, you stay with her." Vaishali said and went out of the room, followed by others, leaving them both alone.

"I'm sorry." She whispered.

"You should be. How could you leave me alone like that? Do you have any idea how miserable I was when I thought you died?" He scolded.

"That's not what I'm sorry for. I'm sorry I couldn't protect you."

"I know you are weak, you couldn't have possibly won from him."

She just stared at him, unable to believe he would say like that. Out of sudden, he burst into laughter.

"I'm sorry, honey. I was just joking. But it's ok as long as both of us are safe now." He said as he removed the black tresses from her forehead.

He rubbed his thumb against her cheek and spoke softly "I'm serious, Radhika. You can't guess how I felt when I thought you died. It was like my life was gone."

"I felt the same when he took you." She said.

He rested his head on her bosom and wrapped his arm against her waist, "Don't ever leave me, I'm begging you."

She brought her hand on his hair and replied "You don't too."

"I love you, Radhika." He said.

"I love you too, Dev."

"Will you be mine forever?" He asked.

"Only if you'll cook for me forever." She replied mischivously.

He chuckled and brought his face closer to her own, "What if I say I'll make love with you forever, would you agree?"

"With pleasure." She replied before she locked his lips with own.

They got married as soon as Radhika recovered and today was night they eagerly waited, for her it is when she will experience lovemaking for first time and for him she will be completely his till eternity.

Dev gently laid her on the bed, he kissed her cheeks, then eyes, then nose, finally going to those strawberry like lips. He brought her hands on her sides and intertwined it with his, his lips went down to her neck, giving scorching kisses on that tender part, at times biting it softly, producing a soft moan from her. He slowly removed any barrier of cloth between them and took a slow tour of her exquisite body with his intense eyes. He cupped the soft round mound in his palm and kneaded it gently, she arched upward at his touch. No sooner than that, his mouth replaced his hand, she went frantic as she wailed in delight and clutched his hair pulling him closer to her. He grinned and moved on her lower body, he bit the soft flesh of her abdomen. He spread her legs to accomodate his hips, with a single thrust he entered deep inside her. She shrieked as she felt sudden pain in her center, he kissed her passionately, diverting her mind from the pain. With slow rhythm of his hips, he brought her into sensational ecstasy which she had never experienced in her whole life, she hung onto him as she cried out in pleasure he gave her while reaching the climax.

Dev fell back on the bed, panting for breath, he never had such pleasure while making love to a woman. He looked sideways at her, she was flushed red, slick with sweat, there was gleam in her eyes.

"Can we do it again?" She asked with a grin.

He got a very bold wife!

He pulled her from her waist and kissed her passionately then made love with her again.

The days went by, their love bloomed, they were blessed with twin boys whose naughtiness and playfulness bring the house into chaos and a girl whose sweetness and innocence bring the cheer in the house. With the help of Vaishali, Radhika learned a lot about womanhood and motherhood. Dev often bring her into Purab's house in which they spent their days alone. Purab and Neha shifted in Dev's house on Vaishali insistence since they have no family, they were also blessed with two girls.

Due to the circumstances occurred in the past, a new family got formed, a family filled with laughter and happiness.
