Initially I would have perhaps agreed with you, but since I saw her do that dance yesterday, I think she's as good as Shakti is, a little more unsure about her steps perhaps, but that's understandable. I also find her emoting better than Shakti does, in most of the dances, her expressions have been mind blowing! Or maybe it's all just the lack of watching Shakti since a long time now... They're at par really for me, both good in their own way! ;)

I actually disagree with the expressions. Shakti's expressions in contemporary routines (only) are perfect, as in just enough. Mukti's expressions are a little too loud sometimes. It's usually a lot louder than softer, which means she hasn't figured out her emoting balance yet. Just my thought =) Either way, both are very very good and you can tell they are highly trained by the way they dance. My favorite on the show is Siddesh though. A true hard worker on his own!! 👏

Yeah I guess I've sort of forgotten Shakti's contemporary routines. Either that, or I was just happy watching good dancing on the show after quite a while. 😆

Though as I said, I still think Shakti's a notch higher in her steps. She's awesome, but then she's supervised by Terence for that show. I would have loved to see what would have happened if Mukti was in DID and Shakti in ZNKD. I still believe the mentor plays a great role, especially in a competition. If Terence made dancers like Alisha and Kunwar shine, I guess polishing Shakti's skills and talent was only a matter of time.

Ok, let's not deviate from the show. 😆

Yeah, Siddhesh's definitely my favorite too. The one dance I remember the most of him is "Allah Ke Bande" from KK that he performed. Somehow that's still etched in my memory. Anytime someone mentions Siddhesh, that first comes to my mind. But yeah, he was the best in this show, no two doubts about that. The one thing that I love about him, is that he gives his life, mind, heart and soul to his dance... Absolutely delightful to watch!

I was actually quite surprised when he said he wanted to become an actor and chose dancing as a means of earning money. Somehow there are some dancers I can't even imagine would be something else apart dancers or choreographers... Terence for one, Vaibhavi, then the likes of Siddhesh, Shakti and Jai...

Lol, guys i need to add something, in reply to charmz listing, i wanna add the fire act of boys there, maybe it wasnt as hot as the girls, but boy it was HOT and well coordinated
as for mukti, her moves and lines her perfect but maybe its coz of mukti overdose in the show, i no longer like her emoting,i feel its weird at times and also i didnt like her moves this sunday! that maybe coz she was under pressure and was aggresive but up untill the cartwheel, i wasnt so fan of her that day.
and although we r discussing 27th i need to point out, the judges choice epi, where the girls did group dance on all shilpa songs, i didnt like mukti's bit, it wasnt that her dance was flawed, coz the moves were flawless, but somehow, looking at her, in that heavy rajasthani dress up, it looked to me like dressed up skeleton, i wish she wud stick to westerns in the future or wear a saree when doing classical, her jija jale moves were executed in a fine way, its wrong to point out someone's dressing, but u know everything matters in dance and costume is a huge part of it, so thought of putting my two bits

To be honest, I think Shakti is where she is and what she is because of Terrance. He made her shine because of all of his best contemporary routines that he gave ONLY to her (not a single one to Kruti and just the Wheel chair one to Vandu).

If Shakti was on ZNKD, i don't think she would be as good as Mukti. Mukti is a more versatile dancer because she has training in other styles, not just contemporary, where as Shakti's main training is contemporary. To me, Shakti is not versatile, and if she was in Remo's or Geeta's team, she wouldn't have been anywhere near the winner. As for Mukti, she would have probably been more probable to win and never be criticized for not being versatile. 😊

I haven't watcd much did, but i guess u have a point, i personally felt kruti was more accomplished than shakti, she was excellent classical dancer and her laga chunri main daag was wonderful, but then again, shakti has trained with terrence and she is also a teacher at his academy, that might be the reason why he favoured her a bit and honestly u cannot tell people to be absolutely impartial if there is someone whom u have knows for yrs, like for eg in znd2, Vm and aamir. no matter what we say, VM cannot help it, i suppose thats the same with terrence too.
the only little dance training i have is in indian classical and so i always prefer someone who has classical training as opposed to those Indians who r purely trained in western forms, coz i feel its very important that u should value the heritage of of ur country while respecting other
that is why between shakti and mukti i would choose mukti, coz atleast i got to see a bit classical.
