ok, i wanted to discuss todays epi badly, but found no new topic, opening one therefore, feel free to merge it if there is one existing and i didnt notice

After quiet some time i found today's epi realy satisfactory, dance wise, although i still dont understand the stunbazi in zara hatke round, maybe instead iof magic and all if they showcase pure dance form for a change that wud have been nice, lol just my opinion . i badly wanted to see indian classical dance form atleast once, but except for mukti's bit of jia jale, i didnt find anything and i am a little disappointed
coming back to dance, dramebaz already pointed out that tum mile piece was a didi copy but still i liked it. coz this is celeb dance show, so i rilli dont expect much original choreography or super sincerity to dance, but as it was evident from promos, akkshat rocked, man his smile is totally killing, i look at him smiling and forget the world, that apart today the judging was rilli cool

coming back to solo, i have no idea how abhishek managed to dance after crashing in the glass but it was awesome, compared to his dance, i didnt find mukti's was so much poetry in motion, there seemed too much of jumps and i felt she lacked poise and grace, too much of running here and there but thats my feeling, she is a wonderful dancer and the judges will be knowing more than me offcourse
the zara hatke was as i said, i would have been happy if there is some really sincere showcasing of serious dance forms instead of all such stunts, iwould have loved it. i thought the girls did more dancing than boys, the boys kind of dazzled people, and girls had less magic, but overall, i was dazzled by the boys immediately after their act and they were deserving winner today, although perfect 60 ,acc to me was a little much

Really nice of you! I know it sounds cliched, but even I really thought of opening a topic like this earlier on. Exactly starting like this. I felt that satisfaction too watching today's episode. Will post in my views in a few hours though because am really tired and need to get some sleep! šŸ¤”

yep i agree compared to abhisheks performance mukti's was not as flawless..i did like it but definatly abhishek was better and he deserved bpotw award. and i was like 😲 when he went through the glass box thing and his elbw was so badly injured!
i have no words for akshat..he was too good and in the dance most the chemistry i felt came from him..i agreed with arshad that hazel wasn't fully in the song like akshat was and also i felt that akshat was more flexible in the hip movements.

Zara hatke boys were defintly better because the tricks they did was suprising you couldn't see how they did it and the last one when the skeleton came out was really gud..and they had dance incoporated into it. the girls one was ok but it wasn't as good as they boys

My ranks for the performances in order for June 26th and 27th:

ABHISHEK'S THAKKAR PERFORMANCE!! HE STOLE THE SHOW!!! šŸ‘āļøšŸ‘šŸ¼ --> Abhishek just showed the world how amazing of a dancer he is!! He completely tore the stage apart! So clean, crisp, hardcore, and smooth!! It was COMPLETELY FLAWLESS and the difficulty level of this dance was so high!! Personally, I think this was one of the best acts of the season, along with:

Siddesh's robotic Baazigar act (1st tag)
Akshats Gondhal and Hanuman act
Siddesh/Abhisheks Zara Hatke act (thief/police)
Angad's contemporary
Rashmi/Sanjeeda's Zara Hatke (the one where Sanjeeda fell)
Akshat/Siddesh's Zara Hatke (tire act)
Mukti/Hazel's Zara Hatke (fire)
Aamir/Siddesh's Zara Hatke
Rakhi/Sushant's Khallas
Mukti/Rakhi's Zara Hatke (in sari's)
Siddesh's Baazigar act (this episode)
and few more I can't think of right now... 😊

Siddesh's Baazigar performance!!!! --> I had tears in my eyes when he was crying! I was so confused as to why Arshad was saying what he was. I loved his performance so when Arshad said negative things.. my mouth dropped! BRILLIANT performance! No one can dance like him!

Mukti's Thakkar performance --> She is the queen of contemporary! No one can touch her in that style! However, I do not think it was a flawless performance. I think it was a mixture of anxiety and nervousness that got Mukti a little excited and aggressive in her movements. This was a very soft, sweet, and powerful song that depended a lot on beautiful expressions and graceful and smooth movements. I felt she was a little too aggressive considering it wasn't a sad concept or story line.

Boys' Zara Hatke Round --> WOW, it was TRULY magic!!! I really enjoyed how this act was put together and executed. It was so cleverly done and I loved that there was just enough dancing with all the magic they performed!

Aakshat's Jazz/Street performance --> He is just SO good!!!! I agree his Jazz was not to the full extent, but he killed his performance!

Sanjeeda's Jazz/Street performance --> She is SO graceful!! Even though I am not a fan of her at all, I do enjoy watching her dance! I thought she was better in hiphop than jazz only because her Jazz was very easy and she is capable to do tougher choreography.

Girls Group Act --> So beautifully conceptualized!! Every single girl looked beautiful and danced so nicely!! I do feel the choreography was too simple, but the formations made me happy (I'm a formation freak hehe) Rashmi did mess up a bit and Kritika was a little stiff, but overall, they rocked the performance.

Akshat and Hazel's deo spirit performance --> So romantic!!! Aakshat easily stole it. I don't know what was going on with Hazel because usually she is very good but she was very stiff and below average in this performance. Not only that, she didn't have the appropriate expressions of the feel. Akshat was completely drowned in this performance and wow he was just SO smooth and perfect. He saved the dance!

Boy's Group Act --> Compared to the girls, they got left behind in the group act! They were good, but mostly because it was entertaining. I do agree with Shilpa, that the choreography seemed to be set just for Karan because Abhishek, Akshat and Aamir can do A LOT more tough choreography.

Aamir and Sangeeta's Khallas performance --> Hmm both the songs were awesome, but the dance, not so much. Sangeeta looked very hot and she could have rocked this performance if she added energy to it. Also, I think the choreography was very weak, which is not her fault. There were a lot of repetitive moves that were boring to watch. Aamir was just slightly better than Sangeeta. Considering that he has given some awesome performance, this was very below average. He seemed stiff, but still was able to pull it off enough to surpass Sangeeta.

Girls' Zara Hatke --> What was that?!?!!?!
I am so sorry to say this, but this was such a clumsy , messy, uncoordinated and SIMPLE act!! I am disappointed that considering the simplicity in this act, these 2 were unable to perform in perfection! Rashmi was still decent, but Kritika needs to step it up!!! She is too stiff, late on her moves and seems confused when she is dancing. She has such cute expressions, but really needs to concentrate on her dancing.

First things first, Akshat's part in the duet was amazing. I happened to watch yesterday's DID Little Masters episode on Ballroom Dancing just alongside the ZNKD episode, since I haven't had time on Saturday due to revision, and was really impressed with Akshat. Vaibhavi was spot on: Akshat's one-two-three beat was amazing, near to perfect. The way he moved his hips was so amazing, something that's required so much in that type of dance. Hazel was cute, but I found her really "thanda" in his comparison too.

Abhishek.. I think I'll just go with the crowd. Hats off to that guy. Somehow, despite everything we've heard from him before ZNKD, he came across as a very warm human being since episode 1 of the show, and for once, I was willing to forget all notions I had of him previously. He made me proud by proving time and again he wasn't an arrogant dude using Rakhi as medium to gain fame. Today, people know him as what he is, due to his hard work. What a performance man, especially after that kind of entry. The impact was amazing. And he literally gave his blood to the performance, so he gave it all. That kind of passion, the kind Siddhesh and Abhishek have, is a treat to watch. It just shows that when you want, anything's possible and doing what's required or expected is just not enough... You have to go further than your limits!

For Mukti, she's an amazing dancer. No two doubts about it. The dance as such didn't impress me as much, but I'll discount that, since I tend to compare it to DID. She's such a fabulous dancer that I tend to bring it to DID level, and then it acts as a disadvantage, since when you think of DID, you think of Terence style choreography, which very frankly, is just out of this world... incomparable. So that said, I wasn't so impressed by her choreography, since I've seen peaks in that style from DID, but I sure was by her dance. What expressions, and what finesse. I agree with Shilpa, she's a blessed dancer, some just have that in them...

The two duet acts were good really. Of course I preferred the boys one too. I liked what Arshad said. The boys act, you couldn't understand the magic behind, it went so fast and was done so well, whereas the girls, the magic was somewhat clumsy... I myself guessed most of it, whereas the boys, even if you could guess at the end, many things were pretty much interesting and unpredictable.

My take on today's show! Yeah a bit long... Sorry about that! šŸ˜†

So used to that high level of perfection aren't we? Where you spot Terence frowning when they haven't pointed their toes in 3 seconds of a 3 minute performance? God, I miss it all, truly. I miss watching Kunwar-Shakti contemporary duos most of all. That was pure bliss. 😳

@all...

I thought it was just about Episode 27th. So sorry talked only about that! šŸ˜†

Oh and by the way, I absolutely LOVED the girls group act. That was SO beautiful. I truly think it's one of the best group acts we've seen. It's really, really beautiful. For me, the whole presentation of the act was appealing. Somehow, my views nowadays tend to match exactly with Arshad on almost all things. šŸ˜†

haha i think you're right!!! When it's a contemporary routine and the dancer is an actual contemporary trained dancer, i am super picky about their performance!! Mukti is awesome, but NO ONE can match Shakti in contemporary.. or at least not that i feel! It can also be that she was under Terrance hence why she was so good, but Mukti was also trained under Terrance, so there is no excuse!

Yeah the girl's group act was their best group act ever! Usually the girls are very uncoordinated and boring in their acts, but this one was simply beautiful. Boy's have had my favorite one thus far though -- the mother one! 😊

Yeah well I guess you're right. But we can't forget that Mukti does not choose her choreography for the dances, she has to do what she's given, whereas DID is real dance competition, so you're always pushing the limits for the contestants, each time a step ahead. Initially I would have perhaps agreed with you, but since I saw her do that dance yesterday, I think she's as good as Shakti is, a little more unsure about her steps perhaps, but that's understandable. I also find her emoting better than Shakti does, in most of the dances, her expressions have been mind blowing! Or maybe it's all just the lack of watching Shakti since a long time now... They're at par really for me, both good in their own way! ;)
