Helloooo People!
As we saw the previous Narayani was sent to the bench but......
Bakhitiyar is a Fabulous Dancer but if they sent Narayani to the bench then the week before that they shud have sent Vikas too...
Kathak Dance:-
Mouni did a Perfect Kathak Dance.. Being a Kathak Dancer i undertstand wht all aspects to luk at. Her Mudras, Expressions, depicting of a Story was Just Brilliant..
Vikas did try a lot BUT Kathak is abt Grace.. His dance was Not Graceful. His expressions were Harsh & agressive.. His Kathak dance wasn't a story.. He luked angry😆.. His Mudras were Wrong... I really appreacite his Effort But the best has to be the best..
- They did a tie Bcoz Vikas did a great effort though many things were missing & Mouni was already trained so she did a wonderful job.
Popping & Locking:- [IT IS NOT A DANCE!!!!!]
Bhakitiyar was Fantastic no doubts.. He is Awesome in every dance he does.
Narayani did a splendid effort... Comparitively more than the boys.. Her Moves & Steps were Brilliant.
-They sent Narayani on the bench as there was something missing & Bhakitiyaar was fantastic..
Either they shudn't have done a tie the week before or had not sent Narayani on the bench this time. Both Vikas & Narayani tried something new. They put equal efforts. Narayani's performance was compartively Better!
So I Conclude that a wrong judgement was made!!!..No Offence!
I am Not Being Partial towards girls bcoz i am a girl. I am saying the truth as a Dancer. I appreciate the effort by Vikas. But if he didn't go the bench then why did Narayani??.
Give ur Views!. Sorry for writing a essay😆

hey I agree that the week before during Mouni and Vikas there shouldn't have been a tie...but with Naryani I'm fine with her going to the bench...because Popping and locking are two separate forms of dance, which originated in the 1970s before break dance was introduced. Narayani did perform A LOT of popping and locking and yes it was different and she had fused in bhangra and hip hop...Bakhtiyaar did perform popping and locking with break dance mixed in (although primarily it was popping and locking).
In comparision Bakhtiyaar was better, so it was a fair decision to send Narayani to the bench. Although last week it was NOT a fair decision to keep it a tie...but I guess we can't do much because the judges don't know how to judge properly.

Hey Kanika,

I totally agree with you. And Bhaktiyars defn of "popping and locking" is just wrong. The examples he took are also not quite accurate. Justin Timberlake does more hip hop. Popping and locking is more a technique rather than a dance form. Just like pirouette is a technique in ballet dancing...i mean u never see people doing pirouttes all over the floor and call it a dance form: "I just did PIROUETTES"...Being from the west myself and very much interested and learning hip hop, crumping and contemperary, i can clearly tell you that audiences were given a wrong idea of the dance TECHNIQUE. And I hope that next time Bhaktiyar decides to do homework on a dance he doesn't use Wikipedia to source, no offence to either. If people want to know what real popping and locking is youtube Robert Muraine from the latest season of So You Think You Can Dance. Like they said they are still far off from that but still for people's knowledge.

I guess this is a burning question for all the girl team supporters .

My view is that first the judges were shocked when they saw vikas dancing..it was very good and hence they thought that to be fair why not make it a draw as people learn kathak for years...Another thing is it had surpassed their expectation but then they could not say it was better than a trained dancer as that would have insulted the dance form and hence they decided to give it a tie

With regards to popping and locking they i think took bhaktiyaar's comments which they should not have asked in the first place..and since they were not that familiar i am sure they took into consideration what he said regarding it was hip hop and hence made him the winner

@king: I would like to remind king that who said it wasn't the point, inaccurate examples were given from both sides. And perhaps its not their fault but its because they have been given the wrong defn...people were trying to justify their choice.
no hard feelings.

Both Vikas and Narayani did a good job. However, and maybe i am being unfair here, with Vikas one got the feeling that he pushed himself, took himself further than he has evergone before. I didnt follow him in Nach Baliye but here i did feel that he has gone to another level.

Narayani was very good, but she is always very good. One did not get the feeling that she had pushed herself, tried things that she was not comfortable doing, tried steps that were beyond her ken. I see Mouni pushingherself, i see Jennifer pushing herself, i see Rupali pushing herself, but with Naryani, or for that matter with Delnaaz too, i never see them pushing themselves.

As for popping and locking, i want to know how much of a say the channel and the production house have in these choice of dances, even in choice of songs. It need not have been solely Bakhtiyaar's or the boy's team's decision.

hmm..maybe the judges should do a little homework themselves...like they could have gone online and watched the videos of popping and locking to make themselves more familiar with this dance form so that they could judge it better! well...who knows maybe they did watch some videos of popping and locking!
