Please please please stay away from topics that can have an actual impact on the audience because it has been proven time and again that you are incapable of handling them with sensitivity and basic knowledge.

Taking a topic like PTSD and making a joke out of it was not enough so now we have a new track about surrogacy. Also, I don't understand how they find dumb ways to make Kuhu a villain. It's her body. If she doesn't want to do it, then it's absolutely her choice. What was the need for the OTT dialogue and that sad expression on Mishti's face. The way direction and music are used to create sympathy and make someone a villain in this show and that too using a super sensitive topic is disgusting. If you don't know how to handle it, then write something else. Don't make a mockery out of it!

the PTSD track came out as a big joke, with Mishti's panic attacks & fears make an appearance as per the writers choice

sorry thats not how it works in real life, and the makers have clearly misguided audience about PTSD, if they didnt know how to handle it they should have refrained from even mentioning the term 'PTSD' could have just restricted to using to words like 'fear, afraid, darr'

mental health, PTSD, surrogacy all these are sensitive topics and if not handled well will just misguide people

and since educating masses about the sensitive issues of society is not at all the agenda of this show as its a fictional show in entertainment genre so requesting makers to avoid addressing these issues in the scope of this show

This is absolutely ridiculous.

First of all, didn't they just finish a track in which they championed the whole "my body, my consent" issue with Mishti? Then why all of a sudden is Kuhu being made into the villain for not wanting to become a surrogate for Mishti and Abir? It's her body, her choice! And if this promo is actually indicative of the upcoming track, then I wouldn't be surprised if everyone, including Kunal, emotionally blackmails Kuhu into becoming a surrogate because that's the "selfless" thing to do, to which I will say, if being "selfless" means having to give up control of your body for nine whole months, undergo extreme pain and discomfort (mentally, emotionally, and physically), and then finally give the baby to your sister so that you can watch the kid being raised by someone else right in front of your eyes for the rest of your life, then sorry, but I'm definitely not selfless, and nor do I want to be. So I most definitely will not even dare expect that of anyone else.

If they really wanted to show Mishti having issues with fertility, they could've explored the adoption angle, which actually would've made for a lot of opportunity for nuance in the writing, seeing as how Mishti herself is an adopted child. But no. They have to pick the most sensitive topics out there, and exploit them to forcefully drive home a certain indigestible narrative about each character. Disgusting.

I agree. Literally ANY other option is better than showing surrogacy on TV. They just cannot handle it.

I have seen infertility and surrogacy tracks turned into a joke in another SP show. I am dreading just thinking about YRHPK dealing with these topics.

They should have focused on other ways to deal with infertility. There are treatment options. Why jump straight to surrogacy? They can show difficult pregnancy where Abir has to choose between mother and child. If nothing, they can even adopt.

As for asking Kuhu lol first of all she is not even eligible coz she has never had a healthy pregnancy ever, thats a major criteria for a surrogate. Putting her on the spot is wrong and making her refusal a bad thing is also wrong her body her choice period. Also will kunal agree but knowing the writing if he had his way he would carry the baby himself for his bro lol

Unless this leads to finding another surrogate which again will become some weird convoluted third wheel scenario lol or leads to adoption. But why do they need a kid now like seriously did they run out of ideas lol

Agree with all of you, but relax. Promos and actual track haven't had much in common so far.

We couldn't quite get this urgency from MishBir to have kids, and now for Mish to ask Kuhu is just . Why would you ask someone who is newly married and never had kids to be a surrogate for your baby? Even if she has had multiple kids, she can still say no and not be a bad guy. This doesn't make sense and hopefully won't happen. The promos are to get TV audience interested in the track I guess. If they start chasing after TRPs, this will not be the show we started to watch anyway.

First of all, Mishti asking Kuhu doesn't make Kuhu a villain, in fact they are ruining Mishti and giving importance to Kuhu through this track, she'll be mother of Abir's child (I don't know how they will proceed towards this), but it Just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, sucha stupid way to include Kuhu in Mishbir's matters 🤪

Maybe they'll kill Mishti and get Kuhu for Abir, maybe Kunal is cheating on her I don't see the freaking point
