Definition of Parallel

When I first started watching this show, it was introduced as a parallel couple show. Sadly within few episodes I realized that its hard to understand the concept of parallel. We have started classifying MisBir as the leads and KuKu as the second pair on the show. Lets all respect the fact that this show is made up of two lead pairs and the rest of cast and not be so negative if there was a scene of the other pair.

Hey Ria.. Not sure what negative happened as I'm still in la la land but it was just a 2 min or even shorter song sequence. Why would that get negativity? Makes no sense.

I don't want to comment on the parallel thing since the channel or the show never put KuKu on the montage indicating it is the story of just Mishti and Abir. Though we get Kuhu centric storylines the focus has always been on MA and how they resolve the issues.

But yes the negativity is uncalled for. This is like once in a blue moon sequence 😆

If that is the case why this show was promoted using MishBir and Shaheer Sheikh. If I remember correctly every promo and every damn article stated Shaheer has been signed as the lead male character opposite Rhea Sharma who was playing the Main female Lead. They should not have mislead their audience and gain popularity which came with Shaheer Sheikh. They should have promoted the other pair. Why use someone's popularity to promote the show when the show is about other pair according to some people.

It was literally a 2 minute sequence. Probably even less than that. I really don’t understand why everyone is getting so riled up about it. In order to build a well rounded story, the writers are trying to build the stories of both couples well. While Kunal and Kuhu have seen their share of conflict, Abir and Mishti have yet to see their relationship undergo any sort of period of deep reflection. If you really disliked that sequence so much, it wasn’t that hard to just skip the first 2 minutes, was it? No one was forced to watch it.

I don’t think Shaheer would sign for a show that made him feel small or used. He’s very well respected, along with all of the other actors on the show, and he doesn’t strike me as a person that minds sharing the spotlight once in a while. I’m sure we’ll get to see some intense MishBir scenes after they resolve this upcoming conflict.

The interviews I have watched, RS has called both of them the lead pair. But it seems like ITV struggles with the concept especially star plus.

I am not saying the show ia more about one pair or another, just the fact that DKP gets so much hatred for putting a Kuku scene.

Why cant we be cordial and accept that the show is made of all characters and we will have to watch their scenes.

@bold agreed! Also the show doesnt run because of one person, or couple. You need the whole cast otherwise show would be over in about 2 weeks

My only request is please promote the show with both the pairs.

I never see second LEADS getting promoted as LEADS

Ritwik and Kaveri got award for SUPPORTING CHARACTER

And if they really want to treat them as 2nd lead just don't INTERSECT them with leads scene, keep it PARALLEL

Parallel doesn't mean lead and if KuKu are leads then sell the show in their name, why luring us with Mishbir on the montage?

Note - Where did Rajan say that KuKu are leads?
