I liked the KuKu scene. It had depth in it. I'm trying to understand both the characters objectively as someone in the MF pointed out. Kunal is already in a state of turmoil as his maa is upset with him and he kind of has an idea that he messed up things. The decision he's taken is hasty and it has affected both the families. So he comes to seek advice or comfort with Kuhu and he knows she's hurt as well. I really liked how he said he knows how to set things right while tying the bandage. The conversation started well with Kuhu saying why do you care about me? She was right in venting out since he didn't discuss with her. He admitted it was a hasty decision.
Kuhu now brings Mishti in the picture. Kunal initially tries to justify saying he only talked to her about her dad who is "alive" and how she dealt with it and she had nothing to do with his decision. Kuhu's thought process here matches ours where she says you should've come to me as I'm in the same boat as yours. But Kunal justifies saying the situation is different since her real mom is dead and she didn't have to make a choice between both moms. FL's dad was bad that's a different story.
So what I'm trying to say is that Kunal gave her an explanation on the Mishti topic but Kuhu's main agenda was Mishti not anything else. She worried about Meenu but repeatedly brought in Mishti. So Kunal saw it through and didn't want to discuss further. Wish he dealt with it in a different way but then Kuhu struck the wrong chord by blaming Abir. And we all know his bhaiopia. He got offended and vented out his anger by saying that line.
I thought Kuhu needed to get that jolt for coming out of Sab kuch Mishti ki wajah se thing. But even after he slept she repeated that dreaded line
The morning coffee thing was too much. Kunal clearly knows how much Kuhu dislikes Mishti yet he chooses her over Kuhu. I usually don't comment on others but FL's winning smile irked me 👎🏼
I don't know if I was able to put my point forward clearly but that's how husband and wife behave (the communication in the room). The thinking process of a man is focused on one thing and a woman revolves around many.
