I don't cry a lot when watching shows, especially ITV, because a lot of the time, the drama and emotions are contrived. But Kuhu was an exception for me. List of some of the times I almost cried/did cry:

- When Kunal screams at her on their wedding night

- When Kunal hands her the divorce papers and she collapses (Kaveri had my entire heart after that episode)

- When no one finds out about how she was literally hospitalized after a near-death anaphylactic attack, and she doesn't even know that Kunal was there with her, so she feels so so alone (I don't even know how anyone could not feel bad for her even just a little bit during this track. I know I cried)

- When Kunal forgets about their divorce date and she is left feeling that "since he never wanted to marry me in the first place, why would he care about the end? Tu akeli thi, akeli hai, aur akeli rahegi".

I know Kuhu can be childish and insecure and petty, and a lot of the times it ends up getting the best of her, but I can't help but remember these scenes and feel that for even her worst behavior, there is reasoning.

Kaveri is truly a fab performer. Kuhu is a very difficult character to play because she has so many unlikeable traits.

Kuhu's main beef with everyone is feeling ignored and I can't say the others do much to defeat this perception she has. Kuhu does act out and does very wrong things, no doubt, but I don't get why BP-B M who claim to be omniscient can't see that. Plus, we barely see Kuhu interacting with Varsha and Shaurya so I feel like the only person who tries to address her feelings, though in a destructive way, is Jasmeet.

Frankly, for an insecure person like Kuhu, Kunal isn't the best life partner...yet. She needs someone who will reassure her time and again that she is his no 1 priority but Kunal can be so dense and obstinate sometimes, that Kuhu doesn't get that from him.

@Meera.. I cried for all those scenes you mentioned. Kaveri truly does a fab job!

Ritvik is a good actor but this show hasn't explored his as much as they did with Kaveri. For instance, the Parul revelation had so much potential but they ruined it with the quirky animation effects. Aftermath, don't even ask - not a proper scene where he struggles with the truth. Sing the theme song and get done with it?

But I liked the post police station scene where Kunal and Parul don't speak to each other but it was so emotional.

I felt bad for Kunal post leap when he was trying to understand his feelings for Kuhu and she always ignored him. When Kuhu leaves for the resort and maami cries. Kunal so wanted to tell her something but he couldn't.

The after hospital confrontation where Kunal has so much to say but ends up calling her mean and she calling him selfish. I loved that scene coz that was so so realistic. Wish they continued the scene..

We've seen Ritvik's comic timing, emotional side and villainous side (pre leap) but what I want the makers to explore more is his mature side.

That song is apt for Kuhu and kunal!

While we're mentioning songs I've been listening to You Are The Reason - Calum Scott, Leona Lewis on repeat these past 2 days. I know Kuhu and Kunal aren't there yet but this is a song that could be for them. There are a few lines that describe what they have felt but haven't been able to say.

Yes yes yes! I am already bored enough stuck at home as it is. There are two things that I wanted to bring up (completely unrelated, but both KuKu related):

- If the saree thread hadn't been dropped, how could have it been continued (staying true to the characterization of KuKu, so it can't be some overly romantic cheesy lovey-dovey track)?

I'm going to start since nobody else is. I haven't fleshed it out but here it is anyway. I usually get ideas as I write so...

I would like to imagine that Kuhu would find the saree in Kunal's side of the closet while looking for something.

She decides to surprise him. She tries to learn how to drape the saree from YT but keeps failing because the video seems too confusing. She decides to ask Ketu for help (because as Kunal said, they are besties and I have this HC that Kunal shares all his secrets with his Ketu-Setu that he feels too embarrassed to share with his Bhai or for any other reason. And Ketu found a sister in Kuhu to share all that she couldn't with Kunal). Ketu and Kuhu go on this saree draping mission with Ananya on video call and by the end of it, she is dressed up and looks great. Kunal is super late and kuhu is tired of waiting. She is miffed and angry as ketu consoles her.

Ketu leaves from the room to go sleep when she sees Kunal enter the house. He is very tired and ketu is fired up hearing the rant from her bhabhz. She stomps down the stairs and stands infront of Kunal, who is almost laid out on the sofa and loosening up his tie with his eyes closed, and shouts "Bhai!" Kunal's eyes fly open as his hands freeze on his ties. Ketu says, "Mai aapse bohot gussa hu" or something along those lines. Kunal stands up. He looks at her with a confused look and asks kya hua? Ketu is like "Kya hua?!! KYA HUA??! Ye to ab aapko bhabhz hi batayengi. Aapko ek baar bhi bura nahi laga na aisa karte hue. Sharam bhi nahi aayi hogi! (Imagine ketu acting a little OTT to throw Kunal off. It's supposed to a fun scene.) Saari sharam to aapke clients ke liye to hai ab". Kunal is super confused but a little worried trying to remember what he must have done to make the girls so angry. He tries to ask Ketu but before he can do so, Ketu sunao-es him a little more, making him scared and leaves to her room. Scared Kunal runs to his room as Ketu watches from her room and smiles widely. Imagine Kunal being scared and speaking super fast under his breath before he takes a deep breath and opens the door with his signature "Kuhooo?".

Cut to Kuhu standing infront of the mirror, removing bangles from her hand with a miffed expression and muttering annoyances. Kunal is stumped to see her in the saree and his eyes go wide whereas Kuhu puts the bangles down with force, turns around and starts shouting (not shouting but like annoyed. Scolding is probably the right word here but that sounds weird in this situation). Kuhu basically says ki "Tumhaare liye koi bhi surprise plan karna bekaar hai kyunki tumhe to apne office aur clients ke alawa koi dikhaayi kahaan deta hai. Tum ne unhi se shaadi kyun nahi kar li kyun tumhaara poora time to office me jaata hai. I know you love your work but jab tumhaari biwi tumhe itni baar call kar ke request kare jaldi aane ko to apni secretary se ye kaun kehlwaata hai ki tum meeting me ho?? Abhi kabhi kuchh nahi karungi tumhaare liye". As she says the last line, she removes the bangles from her other hand, takes Kunal's hand, makes him hold it and turns around.

Kunal who had been looking at her with dilated pupils all this while, not being able to register a single word, realises what is happening when Kuhu hands him her bangles and he holds her hand stopping her.

Ooookay! I can't think of what happens next. Someone please help me out!!🙆🏻‍♀️🙆🏻‍♀️

Wow! I basically wrote everything except for the KuKu scene🤭😂

It's your right to post what you like on the main forum. People will have their own take on it. Don't let people bully you out of it. You're always up for healthy discussion, so don't second guess yourself.

I am up for a healthy discussion but I won't be able to handle mean comments for my Kuhu and how people don't like her because what she has done till now. Also, as TM, I feel obligated to answer every comment that comes through. Let's see if I find the courage in some time.
