DISCLAIMER: I haven't included MishBir and KuKu scenes because they seemed inconsequential to the actual storyline. Also, as usual, please don't bash any characters. If you can express your disappointment with where a characters' arc is headed in a polite manner, that would be appreciated and I would be grateful. Don't come in saying this person deserves this and that🤔. We all have different opinions and that's alright, just say them politely. The point of this forum is for us to have a discussion. Okay! Bohot gyaan ho gaya. Let's start!

Sach kahu to I had expected that the storyline will drop once the show started airing for 6 days but chhate din se pehle hi kharaab ho jaayegi, ye nahi pata tha.

I felt so bad for Kuhu when she couldn't help Abir. They had decided that their relationship would remain separate from any 3rd party and now, she needs Mishti's permission to help her bro. That's not fair!! I get that she broke the haar but she apologized so many times. It was a mistake just like Mishti revealing the truth about her divorce papers. Mishti ne to dhang se sorry bhi nahi bola. I was really hoping that Abir would stop her and tell her that "I asked your opinion. You don't have to ask her permission. If I wanted Mishti's opinion, I would surely have asked her.".

(Also, before someone starts the argument that Kuhu ne badle me mandap demand kiya and pehle shaadi kari, Mishti had the choice to say no both times. Here, Kuhu did not.)

Coming to Kunal's work, Parul had spoken to Abir then why did she go to Mishti?? Also, didn't they speak about it in the car? Mishti volunteered to take over if Kunal spends that time with Kuhu. End of story. Why was that emphasis necessary? Just to increase Kuhu's suspicions? That's just lazy writing. They could've used that scene to show some bonding between Mishti and Parul.

Also, will someone focus on Parul? Ek maa bula rahi hai, doosra maasi bol raha hai (yesterday's episode). Thoda to focus karo yaar. Kunal has been so careful not to call her anything till the time he decides. Chalo, wo to flow flow me ho sakta hai but what about today? They could've made Kuhu ask her if she could call her Maa or just show us that Parul felt happy at being called Maa. They just brushed it off. Wouldn't it be a big deal for someone who sacrificed being a mother to be called Maa?? Come on!!

(Also, it doesn't go with the track where they are trying to make Kuhu insecure about her position in the house and then she calls Parul Maa.)

Uff! How I loved irritated Kunal. Don't mess with his work. Uska pehla pyaar hai uska kaam. He tried not to offend Mishti by saying no to her politely by asking her if she would be okay working with Big Ben. Mishti, you can't just take over from Kunal. Understand the signals, girl! You will have to prove that you can handle the business in Kunal's supervision, then only will he trust you with his first love.

Meenu Meenu Meenu! Kya kahu mai? How does she know what she has to say to Kuhu about Parul?? Did she overhear her talking to Jasmeet on the wedding day? How did she know that one specific comment would break her? Also, I get that she is trying to make Kuhu feel insecure by making Kunal stay away from work but then how will RVs survive? She has to stay at home to chalao her chaals and Kaushal has recently learnt how to use a laptop and Mishti doesn't know a thing about the business. Atul jo help karne waala tha Kunal ki leap se pehle, wo bhi gaayab ho gaya. Nishant ke saath jo million dollar app ki deal thi, wo bhi ab nahi rahi. Iss rate pe to Uima Patel hi inka business inherit karegi. How is Meenu willing to risk the business just to prove a point. Psycho ho kya? You worked your whole life for that business to reach where it is today. Didi, plan kar rahi ho to soch samajh ke to karo. Khayaali pulao na pakao.

How does Mishti sleeping help Kuhu?? Will making her late for the pooja give Kuhu the chance to perform the rituals with Kunal? What is the game plan here because this feels really dumbsmiley5. I expected more considering that Saas Bahu drama is the bread and butter for ITV shows.

I find Abir Kuhu' s bond to be the most ingenuine one in the show and its just one way where just Abir always helps and care abt her.Kuhu doesn't give a damn abt Abir nor his feelings. From the beginning, She wanted to separate Mishbir & she didn't just demand mandap but wished for Mishbir shaadi to never happen too. I seriously cannot get how can she face Abir without even an ounce of guilt and shame after doing all sort of kaands behind his back.

One way Kuhu can play bro-bro with Abir whereas if Mishti Kunal bonds, it pricks her, what irony it is..

Apart from being insecure, jealous, inconsiderate, Kuhu is one ungrateful human being.

The thing with sorry is, it doesn't always cut it!

You can't keep on making mistakes and then expect the other person to always be generous and keep forgiving you!

Ok, for once, Kuhu apologized to Mishti, chalo, multiple times for the haar. But what about all the other times she has done stuff to harm or hurt Mishti and forget apologizing, hasn't even acknowledged it!?

Mishti and Abir do not even know that Kuhu eavesdropped on their private conversation and just before they could reveal about their relationship to BP-BM, she called the family and got them caught!

Or how she pushed Mishti in a fit of rage from the human pyramid!

If Mishti would have been hurt that time, Kuhu feeling bad about her act or apologize multiple times would have suffice because she is Kuhu?

Why different standards for Kuhu?

Why Kuhu doing something deliberately is equated with Mishti doing something unknowingly?

And why does Abir and Mishti always have to have a bigger heart and forgive Kuhu?

Mishti apologized or not, Kuhu got her revenge on Mishti by snatching away her mandap - and trust me, it's the most heartbreaking thing you can do to a bride, no one likes to share their special day with anyone! Have personally witnessed it - my two nephews got married last year on the same day, and the older one's wife had to share her mandap last minute with the younger one's simply due to one relative's zidd! It was heartbreaking, not just for her, but for the younger bride and for us relatives too! But the bride kept quiet to maintain the peace on her special day... Same was done by Mishti!

Such a mean act from Kuhu, Mishti still let go off it!

Why can't Kuhu, for once, face consequences for her actions?

Both of them agreed for a ceasefire - and still the next opportunity Kuhu gets, she is back to her usual ways!

Why can't Mishti for once call Kuhu out and not tolerate her jealous acts and ask her to keep away from the pooja? If you know that the other person is out their to sabotage your function, wouldn't you not want to keep them away from it?

And as for Kuhu's Keep it Separate - it is a good mantra to follow in life, but she uses it quite conveniently!

She keeps it so separate that even after knowing very well that hurting Mishti is equal to hurting Abir or that Abir's happiness lies in Mishti, it never deters her from doing something that is clearly against Abir or his happiness! Abir is completely oblivious to what all Kuhu has done till now and is under Kuhuness spell. But Mishti is Abir's wife now and if Kuhu or the viewers expect her to get away with anything and everything that she does with Mishti and still expect the royal treatment from Abir just because she has decided to keep it separate with him then it's quite unfair don't you think?

As for the storyline, I agree, it's plummeting fast from bad to worse! Your title is totally apt 👍🏼

Exactly!!!👍🏼

After all the stunts Kuhu pulled to deliberately harm Mishti, the one time she did something unintentionally, Mishti should forgive her at the drop of a hat......Seriously???😆

Plus Kuhu doesn't even have the courage to own up to any of her mistakes....the day she does that I will give it to her. There is nothing wrong with being jealous to point of being destructive to others, I mean there are people like that, but the girl doesn't even own up to her emotions that she is insecure and jealous of Mishti. Instead she is projecting as if Mishti is the one who is insecure and jealous and she is been forced to be mean and harmful to Mishti.

When will she learn that only person responsible for your actions is yourself. Blaming Mishti is her strategy to cope with her out of control feelings.

And I will accept Kubir the day Abir knows all of Kuhu's kaands and still tries to help her. Imagining Kuhu as Mother Teresa and kuhuness as a method of salvation for everyone is not going to help his cause.

Plus Kuhu should also make peace with mishti for the sake of Abir and Kunal if at all she loves them as she claims, just like Kunal accepted Mishti for the sake of Abir.

Its better to not comment on the story....it has become saas bahu aur saazish....when they could have shown anything else.

I was hoping that people won't keep fixating on the first point but we are never going to move forward from this Mishti vs Kuhu thing, are we? You guys, there are 5 points after the KuBir point too.

Just so we can all move forward soon and hopefully discuss the actual storyline, I am going to reply everything related to MishKu in this one post only. Also, to avoid any generalisation, I like both couples but I like KuKu a little bit more because their scenes give me butterflies. I actually started watching the show because of MishKu. I was intrigued by how their bond would develop but stayed because of the layering of characters and most of the platonic relationships in the beginning.

Apart from being insecure, jealous, inconsiderate, Kuhu is one ungrateful human being.

Oh no! I find their bond to be one of the sweetest. They both became friends because they actually bonded with each other during Ketu's Sangeet and not because of Mishti and Kunal. In the next few meetings, they would joke around and slowly became each others' buddies. The actual KuBir bond developed after Kunal handed the divorce papers to Kuhu during the Navratri episodes even though they had decided to become each others' bros after the KuKu wedding.

@Bold-1: Abir told Kuhu he will be her big brother. Isn't this what elder siblings are supposed to do? It's their job to help and care for their chhotu bhai-behen. I don't know why you feel that she doesn't care about him. If your feelings are just related to MishBir, I have talked about it in the next point. When it's just Abir, there is actual bonding, love and respect there from both sides.

@Bold-2: I am going to assume here and say that by beginning, you mean during and after the KuKu wedding. I will not defend saying what she did was right because it clearly wasn't but we were given reasons for her every move, be it sending the email or exposing MishBir in front of the family. (elaborated later in the post)

@Bold-3: From my understanding of the episodes, the MishNal bond which is still in it's beginning stages pricks her because she had only ever opened up to Kunal about how much she doesn't like Mishti and he is the only person who knows about how desperate she was to get away from Mishti (KuKu jhoola scene). The newly budding bond between the two scares her that she will become a second priority for Kunal as well but with the knowledge he holds about her insecurities, becoming a second priority will hit harder than any other relationship.

Hey! I'm sorry your relatives had to go through that. I don't know them so I wouldn't try to even equate their situation with the show because every person and every relation is different and I do hope they are happy in their lives.

In the shows' case, we know the backstory and the characters' thought process, so let's go ahead with that knowledge. I agree that sorry always doesn't cut it but it is the first step. Things build from there.

Realistically speaking, most people don't acknowledge wrongdoing in a case where people don't know the perpetrator and Kuhu is definitely no different. Talking about the eavesdropping thing and revealing their relationship in front of the Maheshwari's, yes, it was wrong. Did she regret it? Yes. She mentioned it to Jasmeet over their phone call that she doesn't want to separate them because losing your love is the worst pain possible as she had just been told a day before that her marriage was just a sham and her fairytale love story had come crashing down. When Jasmeet asked her if that you feel so guilty, why do want to go to the lengths of breaking their relationship, she tells her, "To mend what Mishti has broken: Kunal" and ergo, her life. at that point in time, she believed that if Mishti was not to enter the RV house, Kunal would give their relationship a fair chance. She did not create any problems for MishBir once there was no hope left for her relationship with Kunal.

The Janmashtami incident was 100% wrong. She should not have done that. We do see her realising her mistake the next second and even though, she doesn't tell Mishti, she does, later on, promises Mishti that she won't do anything like that ever again.

There are no different standards for Kuhu. She has been called out for every mistake that she has made, be it intentional or unintentional in the forum. But there have been different standards for Mishti. I understand she is the main lead but why does no one talk about her actions. None of her actions has been unintentional yet. She prides herself for the fact that she tells the truth in every situation but after breaking her alliance with Kunal, she reveals about KuKu to Varsha when she herself was in constant touch with Abir. Kuhu gets slapped because of Mishti.

On multiple occasions, she hurts Kuhu's feelings when she tells her that we will perform together, be it in Kutch or in the hotel during the Shweta track, she decides to hog the limelight for herself.

She deliberately hurts Kuhu on the day of her Haldi on Meenakshi's insistence even though she could have told her family that Meenu had found out about Kuhu being illegitimate when she was sent to bring back the Kundli. A girl who had the sense to reject a man after a false courtship could not understand that if a boy is ready to break off the marriage in one second on his mothers' insistence, there is something fishy and it could ruin Kuhu's life forever?

After her return from London, she explicitly tells Kuhu that she doesn't want anyone else to find out she is back but when Kuhu informs her that Big Ben came to the retreat, she shuts Kuhu down. She is constantly going behind Kuhu's back to hurt Abir but Kuhu still tried to bridge the gap between the two (NishMish attack).

During the NishMish wedding, even when she was given multiple chances to call off the wedding, she did not say no. Instead, she kept trying to prove that she would be the perfect bahu by gifting the stick house to Jasmeet. She promised Kuhu multiple times that she would not break Nishant's heart but what did she do in the end? She broke his heart. She had several chances to, if not say no, at least postpone the wedding to a further date.

She also had a say in the mandap situation as well as getting married first. she chose to stay quiet. The girl who rejected 2 guys at end moments chose to stay quiet.

Also, about equating an unintentional mistake with an intentional one, Kuhu did not deliberately break the haar. It was a mistake that took place in a fit of rage. Yes, it was wrong of her to do that and hence the multiple apologies. In my opinion, she should just have told them that the haar got broken instead of stalling. Mishti was told to stay away from that court notice several times but she intentionally ransacked Kuhu's cupboard and took the papers. The reveal may have been unintentional but the snooping was not.

So, basically, what I am trying to say is dono me se koi bhi doodh ka dhula nahi hai. They both made mistakes but one has been called out every time, the other has not.

Also, thank you for the last line🤗

@Bold - I would love to see her own up to her mistakes but then drama khatam ho jaayega and makers need drama for TRP. More than anything, I hope to see her lose it completely and break down. That girl had kept quiet about her marriage for 5-6 months and when finally, the truth came out, nobody even gave her a hug. No one even cared to ask if she was okay. They just wanted her problem to be over with so they could move on to Mishti's marriage. Yes, Varsha cried a whole lot about her daughters' failed marriage but did anyone even care about how she was. Let alone her emotional health, they didn't even ask her if she wanted to continue with her marriage or divorce Kunal. If she wouldn't have spoken up, Shaurya, Vishambher and Naanu would have played passing the parcel with her life like they were asking each other to make a decision.

Frankly, both of them need to stop blaming things on either each other or their circumstances. Just own up but again, that will be less dramatic so I guess we will have to suck it up.

Hey Ruhi!

You don't have to justify anyone's actions. There is no justification for wrongdoing. Also, they are fictional. As viewers, we just need to understand where the storyline is headed so we can demand a better one. I really don't understand the game plan with the sleeping pills here. How does Mishti sleeping off make her a bad bahu according to Meenu and how does it help Kuhu?? Also, we all now know Abir will drink the pill laced coffee and that will make things as worse for Kuhu as is possible. If Kunal finds out, she is dead meat and if Mishti finds out, she will get blackmailed and will have to keep doing whatever Mishti says. And if Abir finds out then everyone will find out so Kuhu to is gone.

Phew!!!!! I am done and my fingers are sore from all the typing. Now, If the Mishti vs Kuhu thing is done, can we move forward to other things?😒

B: im only saying for my post..

i know how it feels to be second priorty by your family... iam facing it... my problem with kuhu character is she wont feel sorry... she says sorry but i never felt she is sorry for her doings... someone will instigate her and she thinks in wrong way... im not speaking about mishti or abir here...

jas said parul is a servant and she is behaving indifferently with her... like seriously kuhu... ur husband taking her decisons, considering her and u r back of RJV surname and she is not RJV...

if u want RJV surname then she shouldnt remarry kunal... because she knows truth already...

this is not the kuhu who i saw in starting of the show nor after the leap... kuhu always made efforts to be cordial with mishti.. what in mishku relation is/are both are responsible for it... neither of them are white washed nor i want to white wash any of them...

jealousy or insecurity lead to self destruction... she is on that way only...

when ever mishku are together they will win every situation... like ketki shaadi and mishbir GD...

Well, they will have to heighten the drama for TRP and that entails sacrificing some characters. I really hope they don't ruin the characters they built at the beginning of the show.

Like you said, I really want to see MishKu sort out their differences and be the awesome duo that they were during Ketki's wedding track and MishBir GD. I really loved those scenes!
