What are your thoughts on Mehul?

So I finally caught up with all the episodes. What are your thoughts on baba? Am extremely disappointed that they have made him into a manipulative gold-digger husband and am still hoping there is more to his character. Do you guys think there is more to him?

They really made him full black, I still can't believe this is the same baba who had the dream of building school in village or who had teach abir about ganpati bappa, and all the good things, this is just so out of character

I hope he has more to it

They really made him full -ve character I am very much disappointed yaar..becoz mishti's first gift for abir how can they ruin it like this and also if baba turns negative then it will prove that meenu and her munna is right and abir is wrong..why they changed the track suddenly yaar..the way baba was introduved it gave so much positivity and idealogies abir have was given by baba then why they showing him full negative character yaar😡I hope from CVS

I can say this because the makers compared him with ravana , who himself was not complete negative but grey , ravana was a shiv bhakt, intelligent and very learned man, his "greed" led to his own destruction

In the similar manner I see , baba also being a ganpati bhakt, intelligent and learned man but has certain "greed" that is making him do all this

Now exactly what that greed is that future episodes will reveal

Also meenu was always shown to be apprehensive about baba , abir was a child when baba left so obviously he hasn't seen that side of baba which meenu has seen, as a child whatever assumptions abir has made about baba could be wrong na

I think there is more to his character. He is not villian. There will be a twist to what others are saying about him. (family & priest in Rajghar)

why are audiences drawing conculsions based on Abir's pov. He was only 5 or 6 when his father left him, we cannot form an opinion based on what a kid thought about his father

Mehul is grey as the makers were clear about Abirs Baba. For the child his father is the best,

all others know the man is a thief. No one mentioned even once that he is a good person except Abir.
