Dear makers
I don't agree with your portrayal and treatment to women in this show. the way women are projected in this show ,it makes me think whether the only thing they do it scheming and plotting and are definitely oblivious to the world around them. Agreed you definitely are targeting a certain sect of audience but I'm Sure you haven't done your study regarding your target profile. Why are you hellbent on only defining them as either hapless or downright wicked.I don't even want that preach on how evolved women can be,how well they can nurture relationships which is something that comes so naturally to them.In the entire show there is not even a single portrayal of any worth mentioning character. There is either a overtly dominating character like bb or insipid sides like Varsha or Jasmeet. Is this what we are reduced to ?Are they trying to project that we are only capable of dishing out this nonsense in terms of insecurities, jealousy or subservience. Are we not capable of achieving anything on our own.Im afraid I do not agree with this..In the parent show bp's mother was shown to be a very sorted individual, who dealt with every situation in a very matured manner. She never faltered on even a single occasion and this resulted in Bm and akshara becoming loving and compassionate.
We as women have always handled any adversity with a lot of grace and patience and I cannot accept some story teller just languishing our portrayal for the sake of some numbers. This is the reason why Kunal gets away with physically man handling Mishti and here Abir is trying to pacify him with some cooking and a bike gift....seriously...Is this the value of a female honour. Mishti was extremely magnanimous by not reacting there because it was in front of a lot of people. Im sorry Abir but you seriously disappointed me.Just by reacting in a spur of the moment will not correct the blunder that Kunal has committed.By even deciding to even talk with him and not showing your disapproval, you are again encouraging him to repeat the same thing again. Are you not encouraging him, maybe even indirectly ,to become what he is today.Upholding the honour of a woman is different than loving her.Are you not being downright selfish by buying peace at the cost of correcting Kunal's character.Actually then don't blame him tomorrow as he has been brought up women who don't deserve to be mothers.
Ps ... My dear Mishti please remember that your honour is above everything else and don't let anyone dethrone you from a pedestal you are on
