Though it makes sense if kuhu breaks the relation. Coz then they can have a whole new track of kunal redemption as well as their love story from scratch.

Plus in one of the old episodes after meenu changed the rishta. Kuhu had told kunal that next time if she gets his rishta; she will reject him.

I also think that their "love story" should start from scratch and they should start talking something about them, rather than always discussing about tolerating Mishti, particularly Kunal...
