YRHPK completes 3 Months: A Walk Down the Memory Lane (GAME)

The first episode of YRHPK aired on 18th March. Today, it completes 3 months. In these three months, it has become a show that we thoroughly enjoy. Since there has already been a thread on favourite dialogues, I thought why not make a thread on favourite scenes. In these months, the show has witnessed some amazing scenes. Let's discuss our favourite scenes of the characters of the show. The show till now consists of 15 primary characters. To list down:

Maheshwaris- Bade Papa, Badi Maa, Varsha, Shaurya, Jasmeet, Mishti and Kuhu

Rajvansh- Nanu, Meenu, Parul, Koslu, Nidhi, Abir, Kunal and Ketki.

Write down your favourite scenes amongst these characters explaining why.

Where do I start? There are pitara of scenes that I absolutely love. But one scene that I instantly connected with was:-

Vishambar standing up for his daughter and calling out Meenu on her attitude and then telling Mishti that nothing is above his daughters happiness. I have been blessed with a dad who has stood by me at all times, and in similar situations and this scene struck a chord immediately.

My favorite scene is the one which made me watch this show in the first place- the paragliding sequence. Absolutely loved the way it was picturized. Abhir's dialogues, Mishti's happiness, the hug- everything was so well done. It remains my favorite Abhir-Mishti scene till date.

My favourite was the scene where Abir realised his love.

Need to remember my favorite scenes but currently, I have 4 scenes that I liked and I recall when I think of the show. The first was mishti’s logical confrontation of kunal and her subsequent breaking of the engagement. I wish every girl would stand up for herself like she did. Rhea, Ritvik both nailed that scene. Subsequently both bade papa’s support of his daughter and his speaking up against big ben’s verbal abuse and abir’s confrontation at home of hypocrisy and double standards. That whole episode was gold.

Then, there were a few moments of how people around kuhu kind of supported her. Like when kunal said how does it matter whether hair is curly or not, how Varsha tried to console her when the alliance was swapped and when bade papa asked if she was ok on the night of when mishti’s engagement was called off. For me, those are kind of small kind realistic moments.

And today’s Varsha scene has to be in my list. How she didn’t blindly scold kuhu or celebrate kuku but rather rationally tried to understand her giddy in youth and happiness daughters, kuhu and mishti

That was definitely the highlight of Mishti-Bade Papa relationship! For us as viewers that scene made us aware Bade Papa is the real one who actually cares for Mishti. It also highlighted the bond that Mishti shares with him inspite of the absence of actual love from her biological father. It also represents a possibility that after Mishbir marriage, Abir could find a father figure in Vishambar.

SAME HERE! Paragliding scene was the one that I found intriguing. It was beautifully done. Also, I had found it very unique since I thought how did the leads end up paragliding in the first few episodes itself. I was wondering if the lovestory was moving faster than usual ITV love stories. And so I decided to watch and find out. Well, what I found out later on was equally interesting and delughtful to watch in the way Abir and Mishti ended up paragliding together.

Aahh, that entire week was beautifully done. From Abir painting Mishti's portrait to his shayari amidst the flames, I think it was one of the most beautiful realisation of love ever done on television! That scene definitely holds a good spot in my list of favourite scenes. I just want Mishti's realisation as beautiful as Abir's. It was to be an epic one since Abir's has set the standard very high already.
