Sabki choices wonderful..

For me the scene which will remain my fav for a very long time is when mishti asks Kunal k chasme wali wife k saath hang out karne me Sharm ayegi...and then when she comes out and says me nahi Badlungi and gets her glasses on

I wear glasses and I like them..I avoid wearing lenses ..it just makes my eyes very itchy...so I could so so relate to mishti that day...I decided to watch yrhpk on daily basis after that scene.

I have never seen any show even raising this topic ..yrhpk did show it in a sensible and so so graceful manner

I actually thought mishti will have makeover and hero will fall more for her or something but no the track surprised me completely...looks like glasses are here to stay forever! 😊

Need to remember my favorite scenes but currently, I have 4 scenes that I liked and I recall when I think of the show. The first was mishti’s logical confrontation of kunal and her subsequent breaking of the engagement. I wish every girl would stand up for herself like she did. Rhea, Ritvik both nailed that scene.

Yes, Rhea definitely portrayed the role of a girl next door very well. Her dilemma of whether the guy with whom she will spend her whole life is suitable for her or not was very well shown. And then her actions being followed was also very well done. I loved how Mishti has till now been shown to be a girl who directly speaks up her mind. She does not wait for anybody. However, her words are carefully measured. That's what makes Mishti so damn relatable.

Then, there were a few moments of how people around kuhu kind of supported her. Like when kunal said how does it matter whether hair is curly or not, how Varsha tried to console her when the alliance was swapped and when bade papa asked if she was ok on the night of when mishti’s engagement was called off. For me, those are kind of small kind realistic moments.

And today’s Varsha scene has to be in my list. How she didn’t blindly scold kuhu or celebrate kuku but rather rationally tried to understand her giddy in youth and happiness daughters, kuhu and mishti

Yes, initially, Kuhu was shown to be a really strong and mature girl. I remember reading many comments on this forum that time. Most of them were liking Kuhu's maturity over Mishti's confused approach to life. However, the tables have turned now.

Even Kunal initially was put out as a sensible human being. The same guy who wasn't bothered about a girl's hair was later on bugged by girl's spectacles. The guy's character hasn't been consistent. However, I still have hopes with him and his transformation.

I have nothing more to say about Varsha. Your post today about her has been penned down beautifully to describe her character!

Coming back - my other favorite scene is Abir's realisation - it was the best realisation on TV and it had set our expectations for mishti's realisation and the eventual confession way too high. ;)

Shaheer aced this scene - it was his best in the series, aaaaand that shayari! Wow. :) Still getting goosebumps just thinking about and writing about it!!!!!

MishBir's recent banter when realising kuhu and Kunal are a possibility - this was comic gold, writing wise and the actors did amazing in this scene. Both Shaheer and Rhea had amazing comic timing here.

And between the brothers it's the recent one where Kunal told Abir that he would never find a brother like him anywhere. :) :) That just melted my annoyance with Kunal a wee bit. :)

Kuku haven't had much scenes, but I liked the bracelet and the subsequent car mein pehna du scene.

Between the sisters its the fake catfight, and kuhu cheering up Mishti with mint chocolate ice-cream.

And Kunal Mishti confrontation was amazing!! Rhea and ritvik aced this one and this was the first time I noticed ritvik as an actor. :)

And the subsequent confrontation between Meenu and Abir - again they just set the screen on fire!

That's all I can think of for now

PS - that was the whole series, wasn't it?? 😆☺️

The first episode of YRHPK aired on 18th March. Today, it completes 3 months. In these three months, it has become a show that we thoroughly enjoy. Since there has already been a thread on favourite dialogues, I thought why not make a thread on favourite scenes. In these months, the show has witnessed some amazing scenes. Let's discuss our favourite scenes of the characters of the show. The show till now consists of 15 primary characters. To list down:

Maheshwaris- Bade Papa, Badi Maa, Varsha, Shaurya, Jasmeet, Mishti and Kuhu

Rajvansh- Nanu, Meenu, Parul, Koslu, Nidhi, Abir, Kunal and Ketki.

Write down your favourite scenes amongst these characters explaining why.

my thoughts are muddled right now. I'm going to get back to this in peace at night #nightowl

You know, I was about to state my favourite episode. And it's definitely related to the spectacles! Yes, the part that you highlighted was equally wonderful to watch as the one I'm going to state right now.

There are many scenes in the show that are my favourite. But the one that has stuck to my mind till now is the one just after the God dhana was fixed. To me, that was the most romantic thing a guy can do for a girl. Abir finding out details of Mishti's eye power and buying a new pair of spectacles for her has to be my all time favourite. We have often seen guys buying flowers, chocolates and jewellery for their lady love. But how often does one notice things which fall under the 'necessity' category being gifted to a girl. Luxuries are often glorified. A real life man cannot afford extreme luxuries and that doesn't mean he can't romance. This very scene where Abir bought these specs goes on to show that a man does not need to buy expensive or superficial things for love, but a form of basic care can reflect so much about a man that such superficial things can never do! Television has often had sequences where the male lead puts a payal, ring and other wearable objects on a female. However, this putting spectacles was a first one. Even though this scene hasn't got anything to do with Mishti's character, it still feels so much more revolutionary!

P.S.: I myself wear spectacles. And my spectacles have become partly loose in the past one month. I haven't gotten it repaired. If any guy would have done something like Abir, I would have left no stone unturned to get hold of him!
