Part 3

All in the house were so shocked that an awkward silence started erupting. Abir and Mishti’s mind literally stopped thinking anything.This sudden talk of alliance caught everybody off guard.

Meenakshi was looking at nanu with accusing eyes . Here she is not able to get rid with one alliance and her father already started thinking for other. She does not have any problem with Abir getting married because unlike Kunal ,Abir’s heart was not broken by someone , but she does not get good vibes from Maheshwari’s daughters, according to her they cannot compromise or sacrifice for their freedom and morals for her family .

Meenu-Bapu ji , ye aap kya keh rahe hai

N-sahi to keh raha hu Meenu , vaise bhi Abir Kunal se bada hai , aur agar dono bhaiyon ki shaadi ek hi mandap mein ho jaaye to isse zyada accha hamare liye kya ho sakta hai , tune hi to kaha tha ki tujhe bhi bahut khushi hogi agar aisa hua to , (then turning towards Maheshwaris), dekhiye Vishambar ji , main aap sabko force nahi kar raha hu , lekin aaj jab mishti se baat hui to mujhe wo abir ke liye acchi lagi , isliye kunal kuhu ke saath , is rishtey ko bhi mauka dena chahta hu

Mishti was not looking at anyone , she doesn’t know how to react on it , it was so sudden , Abir’s condition was no less , he don’t know what to say , he was thinking of ways to talk with nanu in private , but he was not getting any idea

V-Yashpal ji , agar mishti ki bhi shaadi kuhu ke saath hojaaye to humse zyada khushi kisi ko nahi hogi , lekin hume thoda samay chahiye, ye baat itni achanak se hui ki hum kuch soch nahi paa rahe

N-bilkul , main bhi jaanta hu ki ye baat bahut zyda mahatva rakhti hai aap logo ke liye , aap log jitna samay lena chaahe le , mishti ko bhi is baare mein sochna hoga , hume aapke jawaab ka intezaar rahega , mishti ke liye bhi aur kuhu ke liye bhi (standing up), ab hum chalte hai , Kunal bhi aa gaya hai , kal ketki ka sangeet hai , jawaab koi bhi ho , lekin kal ka function zaroor attend kijiyega

All stood up

V(with joint hands)-ji hum kal zarur aayenge ,Namastey

Rajvansh family left,Kunal bid bye to Kuhu and touched elders feet ,Abir did the same but didn’t dare to look at Mishti .

After they left , Maheshwari family members looked at each other and then they all turned towards Mishti , but got surprised when found no one there .

V-aap sab yehi rukiye , hum Mishti ke paas jaake ate hai

On the other side, in car, the atmosphere was very tensed,Kunal was on driving seat , Meenakshi on passanger while Abir and Nanu were on back seat .

Kunal was shocked but somewhat he was excited about his brother getting married.

Meenakshi and Abir , both were glaring at nanu and nanu was thinking

“dono maa bete ki soch bhale hi alag ho har maamle mein ,lekin gussa dikhana dono ko ek jaise hi aata hai , aise ghur rahe hai jaise maine in dono ko terrace se kudne ke liye keh diya ho ”

Then he said while looking at Abir

N-kya hua Abir , aise kyu dekh raha hai

A-seriously Nanu , aap mujhse ye puch rahe ho , jo bhi aapne Maheshwari family ke samne kaha..

Nanu cut in between

N-jo bhi unke saamne kaha , usmein galat kya hai

A-baat galat ya sahi ki nahi hai Nanu , atleast itni badi baat kehne se pehle aapko mujhe batana to chahiye tha , I mean I was not ready for that

N-arey manta hu ki tujhe nahi bataya , lekin aisa to nahi hai na ki teri shaadi tay karke aa gaya hu , sirf rishtey ki baat hi to ki hai , jaise Kunal aur Kuhu ki ho rahi hai ,vaise bhi Mishti acchi ladki lagi mujhe , aur aaj jab tu usse mandir mein mila tha to mujhe tum dono ko dekhkar ye khyaal aa gaya , ismein burai kya hai

Abir does not know how to explain Nanu , he even don’t know what has to be explained , like kunal , Nanu also wants him to get married ,when he met Mishti at temple , he found her a genuine girl and so he proposed this alliance

A(thinking)-ismein kuch galat nahi , par fir bhi dil mein ek dar sa hai , mishti aur mere beech ek alag rishta ban gaya tha , shayad dard ka, hum dono ek hi dard se guzre hai

Abir thinking about her talks with Ketki

M-tumhe koi idea nahi hai apni family ko kho dena kaisa hota hai , kaise hota hai apne papa ka intezaar karna jo ab kabhi nahi aayenge

A(thinking)-kya mishti ready hogi is rishtey ke liye , kya main ready hu is rishtey ke liye

Abir while thinking about Mishti and his moments

Kuch waqt pehle tak jo benaam tha

Ab us rishtey ko naam milne waala hai

Kya hai ye rishta itna gehra

Kya iski mazil ye tay karne waala hai

Maheshwari house

Kuhu and Mishti’s room

Mishti was sitting on her bed still shocked at what happened downstairs.

M(thinking)- ye achanak se sab kya ho gaya , kal tak sirf kuhu ki rishtey ki baat chal rahi thi , aur aaj mera rishta , Abir ke saath(she felt a soothing feeling in her heart), jitna main Abir ko jaan paai huAbir bahut accha ladka hai no doubt , but main use jaan hi kitna paai hu , and shadi is a big step , mujhe ye bhi nahi pata ki mujhe shadi karni hai ya nahi ,maine to college exams se pehle kitni saari jobs ke baare mein pata bhi kiya tha , mujhe job karni hai , career banana hai , shaadi kya abhi sahi faisla hoga

She came out of her thoughts hearing her bade papa’s voice

V-mishti beta , kya hum andar aa sakte hai

M-bade papa , aaiye na please

Vishambar came and sat beside Mishti

V-kya baat hai beta , aap itni pareshaan kyu lag rahi hai

M-bade papa aap to sab jaante hai na , aaj jo kuch bhi hua ,I mean meri shaadi ki baat , itni jaldi, mujhe abhi job krni hai bade papa ,apna career banana hai

V-beta aap sabse pehle ye tension lena band kariye , koi aapse zabardasti nahi kar raha ki aapko is rishtey ke liye ha karni hi hai , ha hum itna zaroor kahenge ki rishta bura nahi hai , hum do hi baar mile hai Abir se lekin bata sakte hai ki wo acche insaan hai

M-ha bade papa , ye to main bhi samajhti hu , lekin kya sirf kuch mulakaaton se main apni puri life ka decision le sakti hu , aur meri job karne ki wish ka kya

V-beta hum samajhte hai ki aap kya soch rahi hai , aur isliye hum ye faisla puri tarah se aap par chod rahe hai , aapko abhi sirf apne carrer par concentrate karna hai , ya aap shaadi ke baad apna career bana sakti hai , ye decision aapko lena hai , Abir aapke liye sahi hai ya nahi , ye bhi aap hi ko tay karna hai , lekin ye yaad rakhiyega ki aapka pura pariwaar aapke har decision mein aapke saath hai.

Mishti smiled , bade papa patted her head and left from there .

Mishti decided to go out for sometime as she needed some fresh air to clear her mind.

Mishti was cycling on road lost in thought , whenever she thinks of her and Abir as couple , she feels fluttering feelings in stomach ,but she is still not sure that she is ready to get married , Abir is nice person but she wonders if that is enough .

She was looking around while cycling when she saw a little girl, looking at the bunch of red colored heart shaped balloons , she smiled and stopped her cycle , came to her and said

M-aapko ye balloons chahiye

Girl nodded her head in yes making a cute face , Mishti smiled at her cuteness and bought the balloons for her

M-bhaiya ye saare de dijiye , and kitna hua ye bataiye

She paid and then she forwarded her hands to give those balloons to that girl but the girl didn’t accept that and said

G-didi mujhe sirf one balloon chahiye , itne saare main kaise pakdungi

Mishti smiled at her and then told the shopkeeper

M-bhaiya ismein se ke balloon nikaalke ise dijiye please

He did that, but when he was returning the rest of balloons to Mishti , it flew away from his hands

S-maaf karna madam, main abhi leke aata hu

M-arey nahi nahi , its ok

G-thanku didi , ab main jaau

Mishti smiled and said

M-ok bye

She was waving her hands to say bye to that girl , when she heard

“Angry Chorni”

Her eyes got round in shock , she held her breath , its him, when she had heard this in Mandir , she was shocked and angry , but now she’s shocked , definitely,but not angry , she felt that the dynamics are changing

She turned and saw him standing there with the same red colored heart shaped balloons and his charming smile with the same teasing glint in his eyes which she had seen in temple

He said

A-main to hamesha sochta tha ki chor chori karte hai , kisi cheez ke liye paise bhi pay karte hai ye to bahut shocking hai

In other situation , she would have lashed at him by now for calling her chorni , but now she don’t know what to say

Abir noticed her expression and understood her situation ,how can she be comfortable with him now , she is standing in front of that guy who’s rishta suddenly came for her , and both of them didn’t got a chance to be prepared for this , but he still don’t like her being uncomfortable around him, so he decided to ease the situation and walked towards her , standing in front of her , he said

A-aaj ki baat se pareshaan ho

Mishti looked up at him and sighed

M-Abir mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha

A-confusion hai , ki tum shaadi ke liye ready ho ya nahi

Mishti nodded

M-kya tumhare man mein aise questions nahi uth rahe

Abir smiled and said – ha uth rahe hai , lekin jab tak chance nahi lunga tab tak pata kaise chalega , life ko jab tak chance na do ,tab tak jaan kaise paaoge ki hamare liya kya sahi hai aur kya galat , aakashwani to Krishna bhagwaan ke zamaane mein hoti thi , yaha to apne dil ki aawaz hi sun ni padti hai

Mishti looked in his eyes and said-tumhe lagta hai ki mujheis rishtey ko chance dena chahiye

Abir was gazing in her eyes , full of innocence that are searching answer in his eyes , he answered with utmost loyalty and honesty and with voice full of intensity

A-ye to main nahi bata sakta kyuki ye faisala tumhara hona chahiye , ha lekin itna zaroor kahunga ki , agar tum is rishtey ko chance dogito main hamesha koshish karunga ki tum kabhi is faisle ko regret na karo

He forwarded his hands to give her the balloons , still in eye lock , Mishti found honesty and loyalty in his eyes , she trust him , her heart trust him , her mind trust him .

She took the balloons from his hands, he smiled, assuring her that everything is alright now and everything will be fine always.

A-I hope kal tum Ketki ke sangeet mein aa rahi ho

Mishti smiled and nodded , making Abir smile

A-mujhe intezaar rahega , tumhari family ka aur

M-aur

A-aur ek chorni ka

And started laughing loudly at her flabbergasted expression, she glared at him

M-Abir ,tum kabhi nahi sudhroge , main jaa rahi hu ,bye

She turned to go

A-suno

She looked back

A-kal aana zaroor

She smiled and again started walking

A-suno

She stopped and again turned back to look at him

Abir smiled- kuch nahi , jaao

Mishti rolled her eyes , started walking again , smiling,nodding her head sideways ,

She started talking to herself

M-mishti hamesha tu peeche mudke dekhti hai jab ki tujhe pata hai ki ye hamesha yehi karta , but Abir ne baat to sahi kahi , jab tak chance nahi lungi tab tak jaanungi kaise

Abir was looking at her, he was smiling brightly, he was excited as well as nervous for their next meet. He don’t know what will she decide, but he had taken his decision, he will go for it, he always felt pull towards her , and he knows that his feeling will definitely grow with time , he will give them a chance.
