I hope this is true. While I would love to see Ritvik and Kaveri onscreen soon, I am hoping that both of them won't have resume shooting in this type of environment.

I hope their characters will be shown that they are quarantining somewhere alone offscreen 😆 At least they will be safe ❤️

I am really hoping for the same. I really wish others weren't shooting too.

I understand why they have to start shooting the shows but I really hope that the everyone who has to work also stay safe.

I also came across this article. It's a really tricky situation, isn't it? Social distancing is impossible as far as acting is concerned and they can't possibly wear masks and shoot.

Few weeks back I watched a live chat where one of GEC heads spoke about shifting base from Bombay to a place which has less number of cases. Perhaps that would have incurred additional costs to the PH/Channel but might have slightly reduced the risk factor.

Ritvik's or so to say the concern of many other actors is legit but the situation wouldn't get better anytime soon, it could take 6 months of time or more and if a PH decides to wait for that long they might as well have to end the show.

Anyhoo easy for me to say all of this but a person residing in one of the epicenters of COVID19 in the country, would obviously be very concerned as Ritvik and many other actors are.

I agree it is a tricky situation for everyone involved. From an economic standpoint, I understand that restating the shoot is important but I still feel that they should have waited until the situation was a bit in control. Since many people with Covid are asymptomatic, I wonder how the production house is planning to keep the cast and crew safe. If a single person on the sets gets a positive diagnosis, all the cast and crew will have to quarantine for 14 days which means there will be another break between the episodes.

I do feel for anyone who is forced to work in this condition. Even when I go out for my daily walks to an almost empty park, I feel concerned when someone passes by my side. I can't even imagine the toll it will take on actors who will have to shoot standing so close to their co-actors.

One positive thing that might come out of it its that writers will have to be more creative to keep the viewers engaged. Since they can't shoot any kind of parties or gathering or romantic scenes, writers will have to rely on the story of the story to keep the audience hooked to their show, I feel like YRHPK will either get better or it will get far worse because the past episodes were mostly filled with the things I mentioned earlier.

I think they would shoot with 30-40 people at a time in rotational shifts just in case if one person tests positive, they can still have other teams to continue shooting with.

The disease is terrifying no doubts about it, but the silver lining is that there have been 2 Lakh+ recoveries made (In India so to say) even though we do not have a vaccine in place as yet.

In all honesty mate, India had one of the most stringent lockdowns in the world and in whichever way it may have helped, we are still one of the most affected countries. We have been ingrained to believe that only by staying in our homes can we prevent ourselves from getting infected. Maybe with all the necessary precautions it might not be all of that unmanageable and dangerous as it is being made out to be (speaking in general sense)

I actually wouldn't mind if they do not pick up the story from where they left it and make a fresh start. There has been a long enough hiatus for the audience at large to not bother about what was happening 3 months back. This is indeed an opportunity for them to outdo themselves and write an even better story than they have written in the past 🤞🤞🤞
