Anshuman has lots of insecurities. Just as many as Armaan had. It's just they show it very differently While Armaan swinged between sharing too little and nothing . Thus keeping the other person carving for more

Anshuman s weapon is Gaslighting. The iconic gaslighting that he did of Abhira in her chamber. That people hail as some sort epic "reality check". Making her trauma has her fault. Victim shaming her when he knows absolutely nothing about all that Abhira has went through in those 7 years. Anshuman only knew Abhira for a week. And thought he had right to pass judgement about her life. That s red flag number one. A better person would have given her space .

That's what Abhinav did for Akshu. When they first met. He was her helping hand. Giving her space. Respecting her boundaries. Never asking anything that would make her uncomfortable . He never dreamt of being anything more . Not until Akshu asked him to be her kid s father. Even then he restricted himself to be just that - a great father to her child. A good friend to her.

Another thing is Anshuman cannot take no for an answer. Otherwise when the girl has clearly said no. And you know that she has lots of trauma and complication . Why would you spout things like "Main yaha hoon paar mera dil to kahi aur haa". Trying to guilt trip her. He kept this up until she agreed to marry him. That's red flag number two

Abhinav and Akshu were married for 7 years. Abhinav loved her. But Aksu never found out about his feelings. You know why? Because Abhinav always respected her boundaries and never tried to guilt trip her.

Third is if Armaan s family is Poddars. Then Anshuman s family is Tany.

Imagine a fight between two grown adults. That Anshuman started.Armaan escalated. Then Tanya and Geetanjali jumped in. But who was put on spot? Abhira. Abhira should ask Armaan to apologise to Anshuman, to prove her "loyalty".

Arey. Why should she? Did she go aks Anshumaan to defend her or start a fight with Armaan? No.

If two grown men can start a fight. Then they can sure as hell. Sort it out.

But no. Tanya has to put Abhira on spot. Anshumaan who is all ok to shout at Armaan just few seconds ago, didn't had it in him to tell his sister to shut up. That he as grown man can sort out his issues. That Abhira doesn't need to prove anything. Not in front of so many people. That's red flag number 3.

All this. They aren't even married yet. Imagine what all the brother sister duo will do to Abhira after marriage.

Ok but lets not act like abhira is 100 times better than anshuman

Anshuman is probably her best bet

Anshuman didn't gas light her into moving on

It's was abhira's impulsive decision bcz she was "upset" With her toxic ex

And anshuman can't take no for an answer?

Abhira was the one who said she wanted to move on with him

Throughout the marriage functions anshuman kept asking if abhira was actually happy with this if she wanted to stop the wedding

But madam didn't said a word

Anshuman clearly stated he didn't expect anything from her after she said she won't be able to give anything in return

Much of this wedding crap was abhira's own doing

Trying to put all the blame on anshuman is crazy

When all he is doing is trying to make her happy

He is very selfless and obviously a very lazily written character who will in the end most likely back off after seeing abhira still hasn't moved on from armaan

But here its different. Armoron had freaking 7yrs if he wanted to tell truth to abhira. Atleast he didn't care enough to give one call to abhira and inform her that baby is safe with him. She was so guilt tripped by him that if he had asked her to stay away from pookie, she would've done that also. But he didn't reveal truth even after seeing how broken abhira was without her child with his own eyes. So now, this is a huge betrayal which armoron gave her, where he deliberately let her live in pain & a baseless guilt for 7yrs. So, in her pov, being shocked is a normal reaction.

Ideally abhira's all delusions should shatter now and she should see her ex pati for the moron he is. But she will again forgive him and will give him another chance to destroy her life. And that will completely destroy abhira's character. Coz maira isn't really a reason for her to get back with armoron. When there are options like joint custody and when she have a supportive partner like anshuman, there's no need to go back to armoron inorder become the mother to maira. There are so many divorced parents who are co-parenting their children and sometimes parents have moved on with some other partners too. But in dkpverse, toxic abusive ml is the devta whom doormat fl should worship no matter how much he wrongs her. So how can we expect something positive for abhira? 🤦‍♀️

Also, Just because I called Anshumaan a red flag does not mean I automatically become Armaan supporter.

I am not. But just because Abhira had one toxic marriage. Doesn't mean she should straight up jump into another

Some of us judge character based on what they are and not on how other character are written in comparison.
