When other characters act senseless - it is characters fault

When it is leads - It is to move forward story. This is just fiction.

The whole story is fiction. All characters are judged on the same scale. But somehow the leads generate a lot more hate coz apparently they are judged on a different scale just because they're leads.

Coz if that wasn't the case, people would have accepted the likes of Kaveri or Vidya after their actions over the last year. Or even for that matter Ruhi. The show is fiction. As long as we see it as that, it will make things a lot easier on everyone watching.

Also end of the day it's teg TRP audience for whome the show is written. They're the most important people who judge the characters and whose judgement actually has an effect on the character's arc in the show. Easiest example is the way Ruhi was flipped overnight during the surrogacy phase coz TRP aunties outright rejected her umeed for Armaan. So yeah. We aren't the ultimate judge for anyone in the show - TRP audience are the ones calling the shots

Writers now wanted him to come back, Vidya character was just a medium. We cannot expect them to keep Armaan like this forever. They need a push in the story. So he has to come back for sure. Ma ka pyar or biwi ka pyar does not matter in this matter.

@bold 1: Basically they forgot what they showed in previous week and just writing for the sake of it. No character in the story is behaving as per their character arcs or how they reacted last week.

@bold 2: again if they made him realize in one go, there is no point of leap. They have to show it in phases like first he sees the destruction, goes in guilt trip, trying to make amends so on and so forth.

He is finally moving from Zero self awareness to sensing what he has done.

They cannot bring or move the story in a single click.

Now there is the truck driver who gave the baby to her father and yet Abhira ko koi farak hi nahi padta ki woh Banda zinda hai ki mar Gaya. Itna tha toh she should have camped outside the police station till that guy was concious and gotten the story from him. He was the one who called Armaan to give Pookie to him. In that way Abhira ko immediately pata chalta that Armaan ke paas Pookie thi all this time.

So yeah, both characters have been flipped and butcher as and when needed for the story - kisi bhi character ko bina hypocrite banate nahi choda hai writers ne.

Dono silly girl & silly bit are hypocrites of the first order. So either we watch despite all this or accept that they're not worth the effort and stop watching, coz humare kehne ya na kehne kuch change to hone wala hai nahi in the show.

Nobody can bring back the lost 7 years. Im sure Ab gonna react strongly for this and rightfully so.

Realization is something he has to get whether anyone in the story / anyone in the fandom accepts it or not. Thats a different debate. But you cannot expect him to always be like this.

He is the ML afterall how much ever you hate him

It is leads who gets praise and appreciation mostly. It is leads whose characters are important in a show. So obviously their actions generate more attention.

There is a difference between side character wronging fl and ml "who is supposed to love fl" wronging fl.

Vidya, kaveri, ruhi are not the ones who promised love vaadas to abhira.

Infact being leads gives them leverage to get more chances.

Imagine a side character doing things to abhira what armaan did.

When kaveri, vidya, ruhi were doing kaands, not a single soul said we are waiting for their redemption, it is just fiction. Everyone bashed them without any excuses.

Kaira also got bashed for being doormat.

Abhir got bashed for being a cheater.

They never got defended with "we are waiting for their redemption because it is fiction" line.

Realization will happen for sure even if you dont like it and he has to make amends for sure. Whether people accepting it or not is a different thing. Calling out a character is good but you cannot control the future actions of the character just because you hate that character now. He has to do what he needs to do and accepting him back is left to audience.
