When Abhira kidnapped Daksh she was heavily criticized, same was the case with Armaan's baby swap incident he was brutally bashed, when she left Armaan on knowing BSP's truth she was criticized and few empathized more with Armaan on SM (for me it was their choice as long as they didn't abuse, namecalled or mocked her pain).

Abhir was bashed for filing case against Vidya mata and not caring about her sister's marriage after getting handicapped. Why? Was it the marriage in real life to care about it so much? Divorce is also a plot device. Just the way separating child from one parent for years is.

People can have their opinion specifically if they are not breaking forum rules and code of conduct or if they are merely joking around finding fun even when nothing makes sense, regardless of writer's opinions or plot, specifically when the track is ongoing. I myself think Abhira used to get bashed unnecessarily and I understand it's annoying to see people ranting 24/7 against your favorite character, specifically namecalling, abusing and wishing harm on characters. The way it's moral policing and wrong to criticize people who are supporting Armaan, opinion regarding Armaan shouldn't be bashed like a real person, because writers did it all isn't it same? Most people won't care to criticize fictional characters Armaan or Abhira on daily basis after year or so of their story's closure. Maybe their names will be used as reference like leads of Gen 2 but nothing beyond that.

@bold: are you sure about this? People hailing this show as legacy and generations. We see it everyday how dead characters are brought up and their justice/injustice is being discussed very rigourously.

I just responded a post before on difference betweencalling out a character and blind hatred. I rest my case there.

Yes I'm sure because Gen 4 fans or people who like Armaan/Abhira atleast members of this forum (Abhira and Armaan fans excluding neutrals and Gen 3 fans) won't bash Armaan/Abhira after one year of their journey's ending. Regardless of difference of opinion.

Realization is something he has to get whether anyone in the story / anyone in the fandom accepts it or not. Thats a different debate. But you cannot expect him to always be like this.

He is the ML afterall how much ever you hate him

Nah i dont hate him cause he was always like this from the start

And yes this leap was pointless they just wanted separation and couldn't find a good enough reason for it

@bold simply because it's a personal opinion and everyone is entitled to their opinion regarding a fictional character. For me he was never "irredeemable" but what might be amends for you are whitewashing for me and that's my personal opinion. Why nobody can decide? We are watching a fictional show and can have our judgements, understanding, level of perception, preferences and different opinions regarding every single character. Armaan is also not a real person he is fictional character right? Why people should acknowledge the amends if they don't think the amends are not worth acknowledging?

Since they are side characters they are getting hate.

During bsp time he was wrong but had a reason atleast

This time he had no reason to do whatever he did but still acting like he is the victim

As if he was forced to make that decision and not by choice

The makers are trying to WW him by gaslighting the audience as there is no way for his redemption

I am forever waiting for Armaan to get cliffed/offed from months now to quit watching, DKP isn't just making it happen

What he has done is in fact irredeemable whether you accept it or not

So you think gen 4 fans of this forum are sane like Gen 2 and will let the charcters rest in peace? I agree hopefully they will settle down. But then who was responsible for the blind hatred spread in this season even when the supposed ML was in his best era.

Well you cannot guarantee something which is not in your hands. You can definitely criticize a character but blindly hating a character for his/her existence is wrong. You cannot hate Ab or Ar for simply breathing oxygen. I can site many examples for such comments even when the show was serving and all characters behaving to their character limit.
