If we see to it, none of the characters are making sense at this point, they have totally flipped the reason of leap because there isn't any way they can bring Armaan back to Udaipur without flipping him back to Vidya maa's son. If they show him realizing his crimes and feeling guilty, then he has to bring back Maira to Abhira - how would they drag the leap and in fact what will be the purpose of the leap then ? So they are intentionally showing him unaware of everything that's happened in his absence.

Same goes with Abhira, she was having trauma response when ever she used to think or hear about Armaan in the initial episodes of leap but from the time Armaan came back to Udaipur(during the fair), she was shown to be missing him and feeling his presence with love and longing.

Basically they are flipping characters as per convenience completely forgetting what they have written last week

If we need push in the story is excuse then every character will be justified. Story needs to move forward yes but how you make characters act to move forward the story defines the characters.

When other characters act senseless - it is characters fault

When it is leads - It is to move forward story. This is just fiction.

Finally someone is acknowledging the writers part in the entire khichdi

Inconsistency in writing is the issue and we cannot justify any characters with such gaps in writing.

But by that logic they keep flipping Abhira also na. She apparently was looking for Pookie for 7 years and would go to the police station every 2 days. Now there is the truck driver who gave the baby to her father and yet Abhira ko koi farak hi nahi padta ki woh Banda zinda hai ki mar Gaya. Itna tha toh she should have camped outside the police station till that guy was concious and gotten the story from him. He was the one who called Armaan to give Pookie to him. In that way Abhira ko immediately pata chalta that Armaan ke paas Pookie thi all this time.

So yeah, both characters have been flipped and butcher as and when needed for the story - kisi bhi character ko bina hypocrite banate nahi choda hai writers ne.

Dono silly girl & silly bit are hypocrites of the first order. So either we watch despite all this or accept that they're not worth the effort and stop watching, coz humare kehne ya na kehne kuch change to hone wala hai nahi in the show.
