This is gen 3 . When abhira's father abhinav dies and abhimanyu is blamed for the death. They gave a proper closure to the track. And see how much gen 3 akshu got importance as the FL. The track resolved around her pain , her struggles she solved the problem . We didn't have a single track in this which had proper closure . And abhira hardly got this much importance in any track. Because in all the tracks ruhi and vidya are important.

Look at how abhimanyu is apologizing for the tenth time maybe . Even though Akshay was wrong that she didn't wait for the police to come and she went ahead and Neil was killed. Still they made abhimanyu apologize so many times.

They are really exhausted with scenes. They also want happy scenes. Otherwise he always we feel the scenes before doing ! Armaan is like me. But this is such shifty writing. That nobody can relate to it.

Honestly I feel most FL's have that issue. They need to be completely positive and also all thanks to Anumata, they need to give bhashans at the drop of a hat. Also ever since the infertility track, they seem to have made Abhira completely lose her self worth to the extent that it somehow has been tied to her giving birth to a child more than anything. So yes, the writing for a Rishta FL as been consistently downgrading, honestly from the end of Gen2 onwards itself

Abhira has unfortunately been modelled after Anupama A LOT, something the previous FLs weren’t and this downfall started post Naira’s death and Anupama had already arrived by then. This random bhaashan dumping, being overly forgiving and then complaining when the perpetrators go back to who they were before the apology and wanting to handle everything is classic maa.

That was the second time I saw him break down, so I wasn’t too displeased. The first time (I think) was when Kaveri revealed Ruhi and Armaan’s past to Abhira, and she refused to reciprocate his feelings. But now, his over-the-top crying has become a monthly routine. Every few episodes, it’s the same—dramatic breakdowns, red eyes, and heavy dialogues that feel more exhausting than emotional.

Poor Rohit—he has to carry this mess of a script and deliver cringey lines with a straight face. RoPu was never really a mainstream actor until now, and honestly, he’s doing his best with such a terrible script and inconsistent character writing. He deserves better.

I still don’t understand why she faked his death and did his shraad for 20+ years instead of just making sure all the children feel equally loved and secure. Guess, she didn’t have faith on her own Yashoda-ness. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nope, Utkarsh only wrote for AbhiRa during the initial few months. The cringe dialogues and all the senseless drama started after Bhavna took over the writing. I’m not sure about Gen 2, but in an interview, Utkarsh did say he envisioned Abhimanyu and Akshara as Shiv and Parvati—and honestly, if you watch the first few episodes of Gen 3, that vision is pretty clear.

Bhavna has been part of rishta since Gen 1 and was doing the screenplay for Gen 3 too when Utkarsh was the creative. Idk who replaced him after but it wasn’t Bhavna. 😭😭😭

You are so right!!! Ruhi and vidya are also behind armaan so I agree with your point 😅. But idiot me I wanted to see abhira's story. I loved abhira 's scenes which came on insta reels and I came here. Otherwise I had decided I will not watch after abhinav's death . But abhira was the bright star she was relatable and like a breath of fresh air. And I had never liked akshu and naira because they were too much to handle. Akshu was too Mahan since the beginning of gen 3. Everyone unnecessarily supported her. Made Mahan. And naira was over pampered by singhanias they supported her even when she was wrong. So bcz of that eventually goenkas also accepted her. But I remember very well naira's lectures very well timed. They were watchable only because of the timing and script. If they want abhira to give lectures they should look at naira not upma cringe aunty who is unbearable and the worst mother shown on TV.
