What we do know is he has romantic feelings for Abhira. And that takes out any need for him to hang around her or Armaan long term. And I can't talk for others, but personally for me, I think that he's also a terribly annoying actor and his looks don't help him either. But that's only an add on to what his character has to offer.. certainly not why I dislike him in the narrative!

RK should have the emotional intelligence to let Armaan deal with his feelings privately, but the man is an idiot. He proposed to a married woman, which is bad enough, but she's also still in love with her husband. He should have had more sense and class than that. In my previous post I said that two people can be friends even with one-sided love, depending on the situation. I'm still saying that, but this situation, I don't know. He's helping Abhira with the Shivani thing, but we don't know his intentions as yet, like you said. RK is a nobody to Armaan, though, and he should not be inserted in everywhere.

I'm always gonna join you in the bashing RK train. He's a very irritating admi.

And i think my answer sort of covers many common points of view I have noticed here.. also Ruhi is hanging around sure, but I doubt she's extended the same courtesy even after she's turned a new leaf.. so by this yardstick, we should acknowledge that Ruhi also is human and has backed off and turned a new leaf, right? But are we? Well I know I'm not.. Ruhi still irks me and so does RK!

But Rk has also not stooped at the level of Sajan ji as of now has he? Had Ruhi backed off after getting dumped at the altar. It would have been better. But no they took her to extremes

So it is now going to take Ruhi exiting from Poddar House for RK to exit the lives of the leads ? It doesn’t matter that Ruhi is now a respectable mother of a child and has been an utterly devoted wife to Rohit for over a year ? I mean whatever does poor lil Ruhi have to do for people to cut her some slack …remember the saying - known devils are always better than unknown angels 🤷🏻‍♀️

I could be in the minority here.. but honestly I'm not sure I'm liking how this track is shaping up.. yeah Abhira Armaan are endgame and all that I get.. But the way they are going about this is just not great! When you bring in a character for a track, best to use them for that.. by dragging them along through every scene just because... is just plain lazy writing.

Forcing a jealousy angle in is fun for a track simply because it adds some value.. But making that the main reason for realisation of what wrong Armaan did with his wife of over a year with whom he's seen good and bad days and shared a baby's loss is just absolutely trivialising the relationship they shared for so long!! There were about 100 other ways for the realisation to be written.

Also, Abhira has the right to do whatever she wants she is no one's slave. But if I recall, neither was Ruhi when she was being all clingy in hope. Ruhi had wrong intentions and she was rightly called out for her actions and I still don't get how she's even become this person today without any explanation. But point is, Ruhi as a woman was still judged for wanting to dream/dance with about another man because of her questionable intentions! And Armaan was rightly bashed for not drawing clear boundaries. And today if Abhira continues to remain "friends" with this RK after he explicitly tells her how he feels about her, she'd be failing to draw clear boundaries as well. Especially if she's looking to seek his help with a matter that concerns her still lawfully wedded husband. About to be divorced does not mean divorced. And if that is what we are expected to focus on, then she would be better off not digging into this at all.. that too taking the very person's help whose even presence she knows absolutely annoys Armaan. But if really, she thinks that since she has rejected the proposal she can continue to be friends I suppose she won't be any better than Armaan was. And I for one don't have a problem with that.. but I know many think Abhira is a better human than Armaan then I suppose you'd not expect her to make the same stupid mistakes that he made, would you!

And lastly I don't even want to talk about just how shoddily the Shivani track is being dealt with!! Hopefully that gets better next week.

P.S. - yes, I'm disappointed with the show currently. but.. I still am following the show because I'm invested in the characters of this gen. Not here just to rant about a show I detest.

I truly loved your take on this, and honestly, I don’t think you’re in the minority. In fact, most of us feel the same way.

It’s clear that this whole love triangle is being forced. The makers had so many better ways to make the storyline more impactful. Using jealousy to trigger realization is only making their relationship questionable when, in reality, this realization should have come through Vidya.

But if I try to see it from a slightly different perspective—something that helps me stay positive—then I can make some sense of it.😭🥲 Arman isn’t silent because he doesn’t care; he’s trapped. He is witnessing Vidya’s hatred, her real daayan avatar, yet he remained quiet. His mind is completely blocked due to the emotional manipulation and blackmailing by Vmata. His thoughts are tangled, his visions are clouded by the dust named Vidya, making it impossible for him to see things clearly.

And that dust won’t clear until he gets the jhatka he truly needs , the thappad from fate that forces him to wake up. Sometimes, it takes the fear of losing something precious forever to shake a person to their core. That moment will come when he sees Abhira truly moving on with someone else. That will shatter the lock on his mind, sweep away the "house of dust," and finally bring him the clarity he desperately needs.😐

I am like pretty sure nobody said that Ruhi needs to exit PH? Thats something you came up with on your own.

I suppose then this conversation has to be parked aside until we see exactly how low RK stoops and then decide if he can be given a pass! But until then I guess we can continue to see them the way that pleases us. Abhira may have done well to tell him it's a professional relationship so far and hopefully she'd be able to draw a boundary after he clearly tells her he will continue to harbour hopes of turning her no into a yes! Cos a no has to mean no if he's a sensible man right!

I don't think attacking fellow members for having a different take on characters is the way to go. But maybe I have a wrong concept.
