When you bring in a character for a track, best to use them for that.. by dragging them along through every scene just because... is just plain lazy writing.

Forcing a jealousy angle in is fun for a track simply because it adds some value.. But making that the main reason for realisation of what wrong Armaan did with his wife of over a year with whom he's seen good and bad days and shared a baby's loss is just absolutely trivialising the relationship they shared for so long!! There were about 100 other ways for the realisation to be written.

Also, Abhira has the right to do whatever she wants she is no one's slave. But if I recall, neither was Ruhi when she was being all clingy in hope. Ruhi had wrong intentions and she was rightly called out for her actions and I still don't get how she's even become this person today without any explanation. But point is, Ruhi as a woman was still judged for wanting to dream/dance with about another man because of her questionable intentions! And Armaan was rightly bashed for not drawing clear boundaries. And today if Abhira continues to remain "friends" with this RK after he explicitly tells her how he feels about her, she'd be failing to draw clear boundaries as well. Especially if she's looking to seek his help with a matter that concerns her still lawfully wedded husband. About to be divorced does not mean divorced. And if that is what we are expected to focus on, then she would be better off not digging into this at all.. that too taking the very person's help whose even presence she knows absolutely annoys Armaan. But if really, she thinks that since she has rejected the proposal she can continue to be friends I suppose she won't be any better than Armaan was. And I for one don't have a problem with that.. but I know many think Abhira is a better human than Armaan then I suppose you'd not expect her to make the same stupid mistakes that he made, would you!

And lastly I don't even want to talk about just how shoddily the Shivani track is being dealt with!! Hopefully that gets better next week.

P.S. - yes, I'm disappointed with the show currently. but.. I still am following the show because I'm invested in the characters of this gen. Not here just to rant about a show I detest.

I am pretty sure, that nobody likes the current track. I don't mind the RK angle. I also don't think that jealousy will be the reason for Armaan s realization. I think it will be Vidya which will make sense because she was also the reason why Armaan did what he did.

My main problem is the over-interference of Vidya and her vileness which is growing with each passing day. Neither the actor nor the character brings anything to the table apart from increasing the toxicity. They could have avoided character assassination angle

But RK as a character itself is not too bad IMHO. He is related to Shivani and has been built as ABhira s confidant, so obviously he is going to play a major part in this track and also get the necessary screen space. I also don't get the reason why he gets so much hate. Is it just the looks? because as a character RK as of now is street smart and sensible. He can prove to be a great ally to Armaan in the future after the truth is revealed

That guy was absolutely spot on the alumni thing and about Poddars. Even generally all his advice to ABhira has been great.

But phir bhi yeh gadha hai yaar. He is not as strong as Abhira is. Knowing his character and his love for Ab, seeing her moving on would be unbearable for him. He totally needs her in his life.

Sachme, Ye ek number ka stupid gadha hai, bina akal ka insaan! Arman has never truly felt the fear of losing her actually forever, like Abhira did during the Rumaal marriage.Everytime with there separation he knew he would pacify her but now, watching her with someone else will seriously hit him hard.

I’m sure after this, we’ll get our Arman Sharma back!

Spreading positivity kyunki mujhe wohi chahiye to continue wid show nowsmiley5

Bold - This right there. You've answered the question yourself for me. Who is RK to become anybody for Armaan? We still don't know what his intentions are at all. What we do know is he has romantic feelings for Abhira. And that takes out any need for him to hang around her or Armaan long term. Just in terms of character also, RK has been caring for a woman like his mother. That makes him a good human being. But proposing to a woman one week or two days before she's about to be divorced without even waiting to see that through doesn't scream smart to me unless I'm really missing something here. And honestly neither does wanting to help the woman you love in her quest to find her soon to be ex-husband's mother. Chalo Maan liya he did it for her sake, any sensible and smart man would say I don't want to be there when Armaan finds out about his mother because it's his story and emotion to deal with. So no, I actually don't even find him smart or sensible.

And I can't talk for others, but personally for me, I think that he's also a terribly annoying actor and his looks don't help him either. But that's only an add on to what his character has to offer.. certainly not why I dislike him in the narrative!

Just a little something on How I imagine their confrontation to go. This is just Armaan s part of it -

Dusk settled over the Poddar house, wrapping it in an eerie stillness. Everyone had gone to the Goenkas for the final function of Abhir and Charu’s wedding. Tomorrow was the big day—the D-day. The house should have been brimming with joy. And perhaps, for most, it was. But not for Armaan.

He sat alone in his dimly lit room, his thoughts spiraling, his heart heavy with the weight of the morning’s revelation. His mother—his real mother—was alive.

How was that possible?

The mother he had spent a lifetime mourning, the woman whose face he had never dared to look at in a photograph, fearing it would hurt his stepmother’s feelings. The mother whose touch, whose warmth, he still remembered, imprinted deep in his bones, though her face remained a blur. The mother was a forbidden topic for his father and a persona non grata for his grandmother. The mother he had never known, yet desperately craved, was alive.

And now, he could see her. He could meet her. He could touch her, feel her warmth, bask in the love he had longed for all his life. But did he even deserve it?

No.

Not after all these years of silence. Not after never standing up for her, never even searching for her. He didn’t deserve her love.

Just like he didn’t deserve Abhira’s.

His throat tightened as her name echoed in his mind. Abhira.

Armaan closed his eyes, forcing himself to push away the unbearable ache that followed. And then… he felt it. A presence. His eyes fluttered open, and there she was—standing at the door, bathed in the soft glow of the hallway light.

Her face mirrored the concern she felt for him.

A part of him wanted to run to her, to bury himself in her embrace, to let her take care of him like she always had, so he could forget—just for a moment—the chaos in his heart. But another part of him despised himself for even entertaining that thought. How could he? After everything he had done?

Abhira stepped inside and sat beside him on the bed, her touch gentle yet grounding. "Armaan, are you okay?" she asked, her voice soft, hesitant. "I know how difficult all of this is for you. I just wanted you to know that I’m here. No matter what happens, I will always be here for you."

I promise.

The words struck him like a dagger.

Armaan flinched. He couldn’t let this happen. He couldn’t let her be his anchor—not when he had been the storm that wrecked her.

He shot up from the bed, putting distance between them. His pulse pounded as the memories came rushing back.

The courtroom. The accusations.

His cruel words. His betrayal.

He had stood outside that courthouse and shouted at her, humiliated her in front of the world. He had promised his stepmother that he would destroy Abhira. He had framed her for bribery. Had her license revoked. Stripped her of her identity. Broke her.

And yet, here she was. Still caring. Still thinking about his pain.

Armaan felt something fragile stir within him—hope. And he despised himself for it. No. Not again. He didn’t deserve this. He didn’t deserve her.

"Armaan," Abhira whispered, her voice laced with concern. "Please talk to me. Tell me what you're feeling."

He could hear it—that softness, that warmth in her voice. A warmth once meant only for him.

But not anymore.

"Stop it, Abhira," he snapped, his voice sharp and brittle. "Stop being so nice to me." His hands clenched into fists. "Why do you even care how I feel? What does it matter?"

She blinked, taken aback by his outburst, but she didn’t back away. She never did.

Armaan let out a bitter, hollow laugh. "I destroyed you. I destroyed us. I don’t deserve your kindness. I don’t deserve you." His voice cracked, and his walls threatened to crumble. "So please… stop. Hate me. Humiliate me. That’s all I deserve."

He turned away, swallowing the lump in his throat. "You know, all my life, I’ve had to fight for every scrap of love from the people I call my own. At first, it hurt. But I built myself up, hardened my heart, learned to expect nothing. And I thought I was strong enough to endure it. But when it comes to you…" His breath hitched. "I lose. Every time."

Silence stretched between them, heavy and suffocating.

"I know you’re moving on," he continued, forcing himself to say the words. "And you should. It’s the right thing to do. But I—" His voice faltered, his chest aching with a pain he couldn’t name. "I can’t."

He exhaled shakily, his fists still clenched as if holding himself together by sheer force of will. The Jar full of her memories in his cupboard taunted him.

"So please… hate me," he whispered, his voice raw. "Because that’s the only way it should be"......

The character dynamics-whether it's Abhimaan or Ruhi-were different during the rumaal wedding, and they are different now as well. Specially Abhimaan’s dynamics. They are over initial love phase.

They may think they are playing a parallel game, but it's not parallel at all. Back then, Armaan was bashed for ruhi, now abhira should bash for RK. I, too, dislike RK’s involvement in Shivani’s revelation, but since his character is connected to her, either his scenes should be shortened or his presence should be made more relevant.

Ruhi is completely different without any proper realisation or a track which focus on her problem and trauma. She might be the first PL whose track has never come, we didn't get to see her relationship with Ro.

Previously, Armaan stayed quiet to give Ruhi hope. Now, Abhira is doing the same to keep RK’s track relevant. Neither was right then, nor is it right now.

It would be great if Armaan realized his mistakes by truly understanding VVV’s real nature-her intentions and her fake, conditional love for him. But because Bhavna wants to secure the step-parent narrative, she introduced RK, avoiding any portrayal of step-parents being harmful to children. I respect her admiration for her foster parents, but it’s not a rule that writers must only depict what they have experienced. Many children face difficulties in foster care but still hold onto hope and build better lives.

I don’t know if I’m making sense but I am disappointed as you are

In short-Bhavna, I hate your writing. Do better, please 👿
