The only thing the minister could have done is influence the PP not to oppose bail ..but given this is a lower court and there is scope for appeal, bail would have happened automatically in a couple of days max given Vidya is not a flight risk ..and a conviction has been granted and there is no question of witness intimidation or proof tampering …wish they would not show FLs seeking out of turn favours from politicians to influence the judicial process ..they have undermined the very principle of this track that justice should be above all ..impartial and uninfluenced ..and what kind of a delusional person thinks they will be welcomed with open arms into a family that they have opposed in court and been responsible for one of its members getting jailed ..do you call this naive, optimistic or plain stupid ?
P.S - Vidya being vile or otherwise is not the point of this post nor is it about her having committed a crime ..this is just about the absurdity of expectations that the FL harbours
