At first, I gave Armaan the benefit of the doubt. Even wrote from him here. I thought, maybe he’s a grieving father who hasn’t had the chance to process his loss. When Rohit handed over his child to Armaan, I chalked it up to a desperate situation. When Armaan was speaking to Ruhi in her coma, I thought it was his way of coping. But the way flipped the script?
This man went from "grieving father" to celebrating overnight. He’s planning the baby’s future as if it’s his own, happily romancing his wife, flaunting the child like a trophy, and panicking at the mere thought of the truth coming out. The audacity. He has the gall to shout at Rohit—the actual father—for truth coming out. ( Serves Rohit right though ) Armaan side-eyes the real father for touching his own child. This isn’t grief; this is entitlement dressed up as mourning.
And when Ruhi wakes up from her coma, screaming and crying for her baby, what does Armaan do? Absolutely nothing. No remorse, no accountability, just the occasional pathetic puppy-dog face. He has replaced his dead child with someone else’s. He and His Brother doesn’t care about the destruction they both left in there wake—Armaan too busy living out his sick fantasy of a "perfect family" built on stolen happiness.
Defend him if you want, but Armaan isn’t a grieving father anymore; he’s a selfish gaslighter.
