I agree she was being bullied by Ruhi and Vidya lately, but then she has supporters too in the house. Armaan has been supporting her in pregnancy. Madhav, however mute he is, always comes to her rescue. Since marriage Dadisa has been showering her affection on her, from giving her prominent cases to cabin to supporting her against Vidya. Since marriage Ruhi had been supporting her until Akshara’s truth came out. Almost always Manish comes to support Abheera, even going against Ruhi. Other ckts including Vidya had warmed up to her after pregnancy news.

I mean there always will be times when some people are against you while some come forward in your support. That’s life, isn’t it. Abheera’s situation was tough but not as bleak as being portrayed here.

I agree. It’s difficult to go through rocky start of marriage and the way she was treated by Vidya for the infertility issue, but she is FL of a prime show, shouldn’t she be held to high standards, shouldn’t we expect that from the writers - to write a sensible, strong fl against this nonsense rather than someone who goes on a maa jap after all that shraap drama and rejection because she can’t bear children!! Shouldn’t we expect FL who is sensible enough to realise there is nothing wrong with her if she can’t birth a child; there are other options in our modern world if you want a child. And even otherwise there is nothing wrong if you can’t have a child, women are not baby making machine whose sole purpose is to give waris to family!! Infact I think this was told by Manish to Kaveri if I remember correctly, but eventually Abheera reduced herself to baby making machine by conceiving in 3 months of marriage inspite of knowing about risky pregnancy and then taking a decision to continue the pregnancy because she wanted to give a bacha to Armaan and wanted the approval of Maa to mend relations. Sorry, not what I expect from an FL. I have personally seen a few of my relatives go through this drama, mainly for a male child, and it’s tough as hell, and honestly they have handled it better than our dear FL. If you put something on telly to be consumed by millions of ppl specially women who might go through this very crap in real life, shouldn’t they be sending a different message rather than showing FL that goes along with this crap in name of rishte and family.

Every character's trauma except Vidya mata's trauma has a reason. Bad parenting, verbal abuse, curses, gaslighting. But choices define people/characters. Right and wrong choices. Abhira not countering Vidya for cursing her and outcasting her for being infertile paved the way for more trauma her way. It was her choice. People mostly can't react but she couldn't even react infront of Armaan. She should've been supported the way most of the women (though not all) are supported in such circumstances by other women or the way her mother/nani were supported by their family and in-laws, but making a choice not to get bullied/cursed is made by a person on his own. For Abhira encouraging Charu was easy but taking stand for her own self was so difficult? Just because the makers are obsessed with biological child, that's why Abhira was dumbed down further, otherwise they would've made her standing up for herself.

Not that I support Vidya’s actions, but she has had a traumatic past too - a loveless marriage with estranged, aloof husband who doesn’t really care for her and infact had a child with another women and still keeps memories of her. Can’t be easy to live in such a relationship and deal with it on daily basis, but I guess she put up with it for her children.

But I wholeheartedly agree with you on - choices define people and their character.

Getting bullied is not a choice but how you handle bullies is. I know you mean the same, just wording it differently. Same like you, I would have liked Abheera to have handled the situation differently, mainly not do maa or pyari behena jaap or run behind them trying to seek their approval and go through hoops trying to mend relations with them. Sometimes it’s better to just distance and let them be.

But alas yrkkh FLs can never do that, and I do blame it on writers because they do it all for TRP. Bacha drama and doormat FL crying buckets brings TRP, so that is what they write.

Also in case of Abheera encouraging Charu vs how she handled herself, I’ll be devils advocate here - it’s easier to advice/deal with things when they are happening to someone else rather when they are happening with you because your brain is clouded with emotions, but that is when your mettle shows. I know easier said than done though!

Plus , I agree she was being bullied for a long period of time & it's my first time reading that she's under trauma ? If she has mental health issues , who in poddar house looks normal ? Everyone has a trauma excuse

Like ruhi went through so much since childhood but her mental condition is never taken into account but abhira being a fl , we must emphasize with her coz she's being bullied ? That's what the bloody problem is..I'm not able to empathize with her even after so much trash thrown on her. Why is that ? In her first year of marriage , she stood upto the likes of kaveri , arman , ruhi , Sanjay , all of them together . Now when she's in love, she should be the obedient bahu. Now she has rhe support of kaveri , arman , Manish, Manisha, and the cousins yet she chose to suck up to the shrap lady ..coz she also believes that her infertility infuriated MA and she deserves these taunts.

The same abhira can give lectures on women empowerment, self respect and gender discrimination , not to forget she's a lawyer fighting for other people's rights in the court ! 😤 but in this matter she never once said that a life is complete in itself . They can adopt or become parents in other way .

I will clear this once again , I don't support ruhi or her actions, what she did post abhimans first divorce was purely by choice ..likewise abhira had a choice to stand against her bully mil and sister but previously i was always told that this is attributed to "family craving " . 😵

Now this bacha issue , although the mess is created by her husband and devar n she's being lied to , i can't help feeling nothing for her coz from the very beginning , her reasons to become a mother were troublesome. It's more of a zid to have a baby of their own to seek family's validation and ma ka pyar , arman ki position in family. For that she can also give up her life . She won't be able to take the news , this was rhe main reason arman is wary of disclosing the secret ..but why are they in a soup ? Coz mam decided to continue pregnancy against doctors and armans advice.

Now unknowingly the way she will give her baby in Ruhi's arms- saying bsp agar Ruhi ko Maa bulayega toh how nice she will feel.

First of all BSP is not alive.

Upar se Ruhi's baby is presented to her as BSP (sick). For all the insane reasons Ruhi hates abhira it's sad to see that she won't be able to love her own child.

And dude that kid is 2 days old. Is Abhira planning to give the baby away, how will he call Ruhi Maa?

Everyone is stopping her, but she wants to rub in a loss by parading her baby in Ruhi's arms.

I mean, com'on

She is innocent, but wtf.

Now she won't listen to her Vidya Maa stopping her. She will take her own decisions.

But at other occasions, she is the victim

She is contradicting.

She will be stubborn AF sometimes, and then be a doormat.

How much I miss the baby Abhifa era! Who was atleast logical.

Contradictions..correct ..it has always been like that ..ever since arman ruhi failed shadi .

She was hoping for a miracle to happen, now that miracle didn't happen she might die of the shock ? 🤐 she will ofc not die but be the mahan itv bahu in all possible ways ..

Need not mention her useless husband , he is the core reason for everybody's misery . He's as good as his father , like combined uselessness. The only successful thing he did in his life was to impregnate abhira , like the first shot !only to bring more misery to himself , abhira & all others.
