I think the whole point of his majnumaan mode is that Abhiras pyaar has made the otherwise reserved composed khadusmaan type of guy into a more expressive, happy guy who can unabashedly talk about his desires, exercise his haq on someone without fearing repercussions. Innately he's also a fun guy who wants to enjoy life but he never got a chance. He never got the opportunity to laugh out loud, be silly or goofy, enjoy the little joys of life. He was always kept under stress of parampara, prathistha, anushasan.
Even now in between his goofiness and majnu mode, he has arguments with Abhira. It's not just sugary sweet. He has stress regarding his personal and professional life
And we got his quiet reserved persona too- he had that when Abhira was new entry in his life and he has grey shades and negative sides too and we saw that when he was heavily under the influence of Kaveri, Ruhi and didn't have clarity on his feelings for Abhira. He behaved really cruelly with Abhira then - with no basic insaaniyat also. Crossed a lot of lines. So circumstances can make him a very different person who is really very unlikeable infact.
But I'm liking this sunshine majnumaan version of him and would like it to continue as long as possible because it means that him and Abhira are together. The day he loses that sunshine means we are in for a major kaand.
Only thing is that they can tone down the OTTness sometimes. But thankfully Sam and RoPu are so good that they could make a scene of jumping on the bed or perhaps having a pillow fight , or blowing bubbles or jumping on a trampoline etc seem very much tolerable and not childish. Because they perform it with a certain sincerity and genuineness.
@bold this is exactly what I am trying to say. Certain actions make it look OTT and I just want the makers to keep the age and maturity level in mind. I want it to be more realistic and matured from his side but Abhira yes this is her first love or probable first time feeling of love and like emotions and for her to feel like a teenager is completely acceptable given her age
Like you said the actors bring it out too good. But RoPu has more ability to portray varied emotions with maturity. I want the makers to keep in mind the age gap, the persona while writing such scenes.
Rest of the post I agree to tee to tee with you. Armaan has changed for good.
