as per an article Kaveri's friend has organised magal gauri pooja and invited the Poddar ladies. Hence the maharashtrian look. Also this function is not in PH. My guess is that maybe the guys are not allowed in the function. So they dressed up as women to go meet their wives. Itna mat socho, they might be kaveri's friends who attended abhira ruhi's muhh dikhayi then were living under rock, now recognized abhira as badi bahu & ruhi will get invited as she is choti bahu.

abhira almost exclusively fights goenka cases atm for which she gets no money, so chances toh dikh nahi rahey.

My best guess is that friend meets Abhira while coming out of the house and says beta tumko bhi ana hain type ka kuch (they can have her meet abhira at some previous poddar event), and kaveri doesnt say anything cause her family drama is embarrassing enough
