According to spoilers, kaveri's friend invited them to the puja, so I do not know what is Abhira even doing there

as per an article Kaveri's friend has organised magal gauri pooja and invited the Poddar ladies. Hence the maharashtrian look. Also this function is not in PH. My guess is that maybe the guys are not allowed in the function. So they dressed up as women to go meet their wives.
