Abhira may be impulsive but never batameez. She makes mistakes but owns up to it. Not like dadi and ruhi who justifies their wrong doings. It comes down to perspectives. There are people in real life like dadisa who believe that a girl who opens her mouth infront of elders even to tell the truth is badtameez.

Well..to name a few..Control her family in the name of love, manipulating her dil against her own son, ensuring that even her own son's married life functions according to her, guilt tripping a young boy who is her own grandson his whole life, making him feel inadequate, unloved, making him work his whole life for her attention and still not reciprocating the affections, getting her daughter married to a abusive man and giving the same man the status of the son of the house..do you want me to go on..you think i am equating dadisa's wrong doing to abira but my list does not even mention her.

It's not clever perspective..Forum is for discussions and debate..the fact that you decided even before having a proper discussion that the debate wasn't needed makes me feel like if there was a "do not reply/comment" button you the forum, you would use it...you are saying red is yellow, I don't agree so i am challenging your view because i want to know if i am missing something. Knowing the opposition 's best points will help the person in making their best case.

From where I'm standing, I only see an independent, hardworking woman who has dreams and ambition. Armaan has supported her, no questions about that. But his support wouldn't even be required had her mum not died.

History says, every tyrant is afraid of losing his powers. Dadisa is the same. I think she's afraid of Abhira because she has the power to sway. To illustrate, Krish would never had the strength to break free of generational trauma to follow his dreams.

Her fear was evident to me in the photograph scene.

You are more than entitled to disagree with me. My aim in writing the passage wasn't to conform you to my way of thinking. I was simply verbalizing what I gathered from my own psychoanalysis.

Abhira holds a power not unlike the one dadisa herself holds with the other family members. While dadisa uses the power to push or control others which has its limits, abhira effortlessly uses it to help others be in control of themselves which makes abhira's power far more superior then dadisas. Phufasa is being petty. Although I feel his reasons for hating Abhira isn't too different than Dadisa's. Except his is perhaps on a smaller scale.

While Dadisa wants to control the entire khaandaan to, Phufasa is content with having his own family toe the line. He dislikes the sway Abhira has on Krish, Charu and Kajal. Well, to be fair Kajal isn't quite enamoured by Abhira and Charu is.....a dogli for a lack of better word. He isn't exactly afraid of her because Krish has already gone out of his hand and when push comes to shove, Kajal & Charu would indeed fall in line.

At least, that's my prespective.

I agree! The reasons for hating abhira isn't too different for dadisa and phupasa..Abhira has hurt something that they each consider very important to their identity...for dadisa its her ego and for phupasa its his masculinity.

PP is a regressive man..even dadisa is not so..PP has the "a man should be a man" wala principles..so according to him dancing is not man's profession..and the fact that his own son is pursuing that field as a career, he is livid. When he wonders from where krish could have gathered that courage living in the poddar house, he sees abhira the only variable with power and abhira is a girl. Thus His masculinity is hurt by a lil girl

With dadi, more that the particular profession, she is stunned by the deviation in the puppet script act that she had drafted for krish. Once again not unlike Pp, she looks around and sees abhira, the only other variable..her ego is threatened by a lil girl

Kajal is a coward and opportunist. In the first few episodes of gen4, manisha asks her why she is not upset or angry at the fact her own mother treats her badi Bahu better than her own daughter kajal.. the reason is kajal is aware of the fact that she is not capable enough to get dadisa's love by trying but then she doesn't have to. She has a husband who is favorite of her masa. So in her head, she has the power if she sticks to her husband who inturn sticks to her mother. The biggest reason for her to put up with her husband is her mother.

Charu is the worst version of her parents. But i am sure if abhir is alive, she ll be the next Mrs birla And krish is what his parents should have been.

Its such a pseudo feminist attitude that a strong independent women is weak if she is vulnerable in love and backward thinking mentality that it is laughable when a career oriented women thinks about her personal life and wishes to live with the man she loves.

Abhira's mom was called a fool when she did not stand against the injustice and Abhira is called bathameez because she does.

Completely agree. Dadisa is not just a control freak but a tyrant. Dadisa is aware of the power that abhira yields. Control has its limits. It tends to retaliate when pushed over a certain point. While Dadisa keeps the others weak by giving minimal strength to breathe in turn staying the most powerful person in the house, Abhira provides strength to others enabling them to fight their own battles. And with that strength comes confidence and that is hard to keep in control for dadisa

So true..Krish and Manisha are my favorites.

Krish is that buried version of his parents. Even PP has a lil very lil bit of goodness in him when he was worried about madhav's wellbeing and vidya's worries about him. His monologue while sending a message to vidya from madhav's phone is to ensure that vidya stop worrying about her husband. I genuinely at that time thought that he would kill madhav...And then i realised he is disgustingly evil and not killer evil.

And with kajal, i hope thats what it is and not poor writing.
