no it was not like that at all .. lavanya was armav’s girlfriend she was very modern and ASR wanted to live in with her .. khushi is hired by the family to train lavanya in Indian values both become very good friends..Arnav starts feeling for khushi .., and khushi cannot understand why is she feeling like that

It was a very cute story … later on family starts liking lavanya but she understands Arnav does not love her .. he has started loving khushi .. she backs out when both have not acknowledged or accepted their love for each other .. after lavanya and Arnav break up amicably.. arnav starts flirting with khushi directly because by then acceptance is there from his side

There was nothing wrong in ASR khushi lavanya story

udaariyaan couldn’t follow the blood legacy route because fateh and tejo,didn’t have any biological children. Nehmat was their adopted daughter who,had no blood relation to any of them. But she was lead Gen 2 .. Jasmines daughters were more of tejos blood as she was their maasi. So Aasma being the heroine is fine in gen 3 as she is related to tejo in blood.. but Rishta is different..it has a clear legacy …because the heroines always have their biological daughters who are the next generation heroines..

@bold Asma is more closely related to Tejo's sister Jasmine (vamp) being Harleen's daughter than Tejo. Harleen was vamp in S2 but her daughter became FL in S3 whereas Nehmat was FL of S2 her daughter turned vamp in S3. It was more like upbringing matters. But it didn't work in terms of TRP.

Nope, as much as I love ipkknd and have done repeat watch.. Arnav did not treat Lavanya fairly... I remember scenes where he was flirting with lavanya to get a reaction from Khushi looking at her and Lavanya being oblivious.. Similarly he announced decision to marry with Lavanya because I think his sister questioned his feelings for Khushi...

But audience was not conflicted as to whether that marriage will go fwd, every one knew it won't, that ot was all abt Ar- Shi and of course there was less of sm then

No no ..I didn’t mean the story ..just this bringing the FL into the ML’s wedding prep just to keep the leads in one frame ..it is such a cliched track .

If legacy didn't matter then Kartik-Sirat marriage track or separation track should have got them 3+ for consecutive 2 months or 4+ TRP for consecutive 2-3 weeks the way Kaira Vivah, Kaira's separation during Mumbai track and Goa track, their confrontations and angst got them. Why they had to take the generation leap with Kartik-Sirat within 1.5 years? They could've shown them living happily with their young kids for a year or two then teenage kids for a year or two like Naitik-Akshara or having major tracks surrounding their characters like Kartik-Naira.

Kartik-Naira ran the show without their characters being replaced or killed off for 5 years without a major generation leap, Naitik-Akshara ran it for 6 years without a generation leap. Whereas Kartik-Sirat ran it for 1.5 years only?

The only popular show based on a love triangle that didn't follow legacy was Udaariyan TRP of Gen 3 is 0.4 now, from 2-3+ in Gen 1 to 0.4 in Gen 3, within 3 years drop in TRP is more than significant whereas yrkkh is running with legacy and TRP never went this low or even close to this low regardless of the storyline.

So we can not compare trp of gen 2 with gen 3 or gen 4. As gen 3 and gen 4 has competition form rival shows + OTT apps. Which was not the case for gen 2 and gen 1 pre covid as they had major competition only from rival channel and not from OTT as it was not popular.

ok..main thing..is that abhira has a ŵell paying job..so we won’t see her hungry again…that’s very important..yes podaars are difficult clients..but in business..that always happens..there will be that one awful client..who you just want to tell ..’get lost’.. but you grit your teeth.put on your best smile and do,your job to your best ability.. so abhira is going to do that.. Like I mentioned yesterday, monday to Friday abhira will get humiliated & cry, saturday she will decide to move on, sunday she will be shown fully confident. This is the pattern they are showing.
