No, Dragon heard Charu-Bhabhi conversation where bhabhi convinced her to stop pining for Dev.

Abhira heard Vidya-Ar conversation where Vidya was putting pressure on Ar to say yes to Ruhi.

Real trp audience and online audience (like most of us) are 2 different breeds.

Makers can show n numbers of reasons to justify or whitewash pl but after doing all the kaands and intentionally destroying lives of so many people trp audience never likes them. Online audience on sm platforms consider character growth, etc. etc. but for them everything is black and white as they only watch for entertainment and not analyse everything like us. Most of them don't even watch bts or read upcoming updates, they just watch episodes.

I don't know much about gen 3 so would not comment on it much but in gen 2 no character was destroyed beyond limits that's why their redemption was not that difficult to accept.

But when it comes to gen 4, no matter how much writers will try to whitewash ruhi, give her so called mature dialogues (only reserved for others) or tears talking to Ab but for trp audience she'll only remain vamp who try to come between leads and acts bholi infront of family.

She may have better life in future and Ab may become mahaan & dumb sacrificial goat but then also it will not change the fact that Ab is fl and trp audience will remain on her side only. And honestly saying no amount of whitewashing can make Ru better then Ab as this gen is copy of ghum and mainly viewers don't have short term memory loss like writers that they will forget all her wrongdoings.

Even if Ak's character was not likable acc to so many people on sm platforms but then also trp audience prefer her only.

These things are quite clear from YT too.

character traits. They'll step over anyone for love. Charu was willing to see her dadisa in jail

for her love for Dev, and no need to list Ruhi vile acts, cause I don't have all day and she bores me

It's not even whitewashing her...That scene is for only dadisa to think ruhi kitni achi hai Sachi hai...

But I felt ye zimmedar insaan apne family jaap ke wajah se khud ka character Barbad karega saath hi saath isko bechari dhikayega....
