I understand that part ..but why would you want Armaan’s redemption so soon or quick ? Don’t you want to see him roast in the fires of hell? If he ran after Abhira and saved her now, it would simply negate the impact of the previous episode.

But he should not be degraded to the point of no return that by the time he's "regretting", we dont even care about it.

I feel, abhira ki language mein, meri antaraatma se awaaz aa rahi hain writers ne u turn maar liya hain, donno why. Abhira was clearly falling for him, itne sapne dekhe usne, & then they categorised it as ' liking' & divorce papers drama laake full stop laga diya uske feelings pe. Shayad isliye ke they wanted to recreate rumaal in mussoorie but fl in love with ml & ml running after his ex will not go well with trp audiance.

Ruhaan, rumaal, cringe, whatever you want to call it

The voiceover and precap made it seem like he did know both were in danger but opted to choose Ruhi first.

If he does not know then toh actually keeping aside cringe for a min, its justified that he ran to save Ruhi .

The thing is- if he keeps on prioritizing Ruhi like this it'll get to a point where we can never be happy to see Abhimaan and we will still be stuck with it nevertheless without another ML etc. I have seen it happen in ghum s1 and TMD. Lead pair had awesome chemistry but were ruined so much it became impossible to root for them.

I also want Armaan to suffer. I am also happy Abhira isn't abla naari. But if he's really picking Ruhi over Abhira that makes him go down a road thats hard to return from. And the more scenes like that we get, we will want a new ML altogether but that won't happen anytime soon. So then we will be stuck with Armaan settling for Abhira because Rohit returned or some other kaand and not out of choice. She deserves better than to be with spineless man for whom she's a backup option.

In shows with more cringe than this and toxic MLs also, ML always reaches to "save" FL and he is shown picking FL over PL when it is life/death, danger situation. So not sure what they are going for here.
