I have not watched pre-leap fully. I have watched Abhira scenes on YT. They are nice and romantic. Even though I have not watched the series fully I can see the drastic change in the core traits of Abhimanyu and Akshara.

Abhumanyu's swag and daring style is not there anymore. Sure his anger issue is gone now. But along with that, the energy that he had in pre-lead is also gone now. Now it is just a body without a soul. Same goes for Akshara. Her adorable and bold qualities are gone now. I understand if they want to show their mature side. But they are like two different ppl suffering from depression. They are most of the unhappy, sad and stressed out. The show atmosphere is too gloomy.

I wonder this kind of storyline can even maintain the trps. No matter of how good the actor is, the storyline needs to be good as well. If not then it will go downhill.

Yes post leap Abhira aren't similar to Preleap Abhira at all...Abhi now is calmer but he looks defeated and lost..and mrs Sharma and Akshu are two totally different people...story is center of creative work..without good story no one can save a show

But Zama is the script consultant nuh. He has been in the position since Kaira's storyline. Also he is also the writer in Anupamaa as well. Kaira season worked well and Anupamaa is also doing well. What in the world happened? I always had thought that this would also be successful just like Naira. The story started on a promising note.

I have been thinking about it myself...its really unbelievable how can someone destroy their own creation...destroy potential of phenomenal actors and be blind to feedback of how their FL looks

This!! You took a 2nd leap and you basically changed characters core traits.

Abhi lost a lot and now he feels he has no haq to any happiness. The confident straightforward guy who was always honest now has to think 100 things before saying anything to anyone :/. No wonder during ghangur- Harshad was like the OG Abhi is done and over with.

Akshu was bubbly and full of life. Akshara lived happily with Abhinav I guess, but she was full of hatred and fear. Currently Akshara’s life is all about her children, nothing else

Also, the 2nd leap was just filled with DDP.
