If Manjari knows this is how Abhimanyu-Akshara relationship works, why was she forcing them to get married again. Why was she pushing Akshara to get an abortion so that Akshara can marry Abhimanyu.

Manjari should have ensured Akshara always maintained a "healthy" distance from her son but making Abhir accessible to Abhimanyu at all times.

Instead of all these she pushed for their marriage. And now there is a baby in the picture, suddenly she "remembered" how Akshara has always been?

Manjari is really a toxic MIL. Any mother who influences and manipulates their son and do not maintain healthy boundaries after his marriage is definitely a toxic MIL. Manjari's so called ma ki mamta and love has ruined Abhimanyu more than Akshara ever did.

Manjari can object, but she can not stop any adults from taking decisions. No one is asking Manjari should accept it. If Manjari wants to stay in the picture of his son's happy family, she has to accept it. Else she can stay alone happy. Now since Abhi has declared he is going for marriage, Manjari should not interfere and be happy with herself, isn't it?

To support your argument, she actually said, you don't need to take responsibility of this child. I will never pressurise you to go forward this marriage, to Abhimanyu. It was Abhimanyu who said he wants to marry her.

I have already talked about all of this. Manjari using the baby and abortion as her hill to die on is wrong. Instead she should have objected to the marriage from the beginning and called for both Abhira to postpone the wedding by a year or so. Take time to understand each other again, see if they can operate in the new space with a baby and everything. Work on their friendship which is still really new given it's only been two months since Nav's demise.

I don't think she is a toxic MIL, mostly cause I don't just throw around words like toxic so loosely. They have their place and generalizations help no one. I won't say what Manjari and Abhi have is a healthy relationship either. As for Ak, I think MJ's issues with her are completely valid. See it's hard to go through anything right now cause the narrative is so fragmented. Everyone is kind of right in their own way, depending on how we interpret the situation. So I m not for bashing any of the characters right now.

Oh, Manjari is definitely toxic. Let's just look at her actions.

Manjari has always emotionally manipulated/blackmailed Abhimanyu.

She never let Abhimanyu be out of her shadows.

She never even took a single step back, let the married couple be when he got married.

Her interference has caused enough issues.

If Akshara forgets something or if Manjari felt like Akshara is not taking care of Abhimanyu she has always bashed Akshara

She literally blamed and did more than enough emotional nautanki to get a physically and mentally devastated Akshara kicked out.

She asked Akshara's husband to leave her so that Akshara can marry Abhimanyu

Took away and separated Abhir from his mom, Akshara

And when Akshara came to see him, always made scenes

When Abhinav died, she shamelessly showed up at his funeral and said I know Akshara doesn't consider me as a mother but I still consider as my daughter

She pushed Akshara to get married to Abhimanyu

When Akshara said no, asked her to convince Abhimanyu to get married.

When finally their marriage was happening, she wanted Akshara to abort her baby

She attempted suicide to emotionally blackmail Abhimanyu

She always said Aarohi is her daughter, but when she was leaving she said, mera beta ka photo aur meri poti kahi nahi jayenge. Meaning she didn't give a damn about Aarohi.

She never let Aarohi move on and made sure she stayed in Birla house

She dangled marriage with Abhimanyu to Aarohi and backed out if it as if nothing happened.

She used Ruhi first to get Abhimanyu and Aarohi get married

Then she used Abhir to get Abhimanyu and Akshara married

Now she wants to stop the marriage.

She acts like Akshara has locked Abhimanyu in a cage or something. She never respects Abhimanyu's wishes. She does what is better for her.

And never corrects her behaviour but just start crying saying I didn't mean it or galti ho gayi mujhse but keeps repeating the same mistakes.

I don't know what more a person has to do to be toxic. And I don't know how calling Manjari toxic is using the word toxic loosely.

It happened where Abhi kicked Ak out and killed An. I would have loved seeing him do both but we are not getting the good episodes. Aren't we paying enough?

I am not even have not subscribed SP on my tata sky I have HS subscription for movies. Will never ever pay for HS from next year.
